How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was a smell of cigarettes when I went in my room. The work for refurbishment made the use of the stairs confusing.

The front desk and bar/breakfast area is undergoing rennovation and I thought the breakfast was not so good as previous visits (but this is a temporary thing)
Perfect for a one night stay if visiting a game at Stamford Bridge. The room was available upon arrival so we were able to check-in early, and special mention of Salim on the front desk who was extremely helpful in making that happen. The room was recently refurbished and it shows with smart fixtures and fittings, modern decor

The room was not one of the refurbished ones. Refurbishment work going all around. Thankfully our room was quiet enough on the 10th floor, however keep in mind that there's work being done all around the hotel.
The staff, especially Salim from reception, we're exceptional! Location was great and the bed were very comfy.

Room is a little on the small side but its liveable

Hotel has very good position, only 2 minutes to walk to the metro. Breakfast had a large selection. The staff was very pleasant and helpful 😊.

The shower is in the bath this could be an issue if you have mobility issues.
Great location to shops & transport. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

Downstairs main rooms were a bit uninviting - lack of windows, etc, very bright lights and decor a bit garish.
The breakfast was amazing! Wish I had a bigger appetite... Newly refurbished rooms were really 'cute'.

I stayed in the last floor, and the shower there didn't have pressure at all. I think that once they're going under renovation they should take this in consideration.
Seems like they are going under a renovation, so there were newer and older rooms. I stayed in an older one, but it was okay, very clean and comfortable. I payed for the breakfast separatedly for 12 pounds, but it was worth it, there were a lot of options (I stayed with a vegan friend and she liked her options as well).

The sofa bed was more like a chair bed, it was ok for a small adult, a slightly thicker mattress would’ve been better. Fine for 1 night though.
We arrived early and were given a free early check in. Salim was very helpful!

Only stayed for one night so didn't make full use of the facilities. There wasn't a hook to hang up my coat but there were hangers and a rack.
Very clean and modern, bed very comfy and with the building being quite tall with no other tall buildings in the vicinity the view from my room was very good and allowed for very nice natural lighting.

the little inconvenience was the working noise around - as the hotel is being refurbished. but it only happened during the day, our cue to go out and explore the city!
the location is great, a very short walk to two tube stations to the centre but also great for fulham stadium for a chelsea game. we got a very modern room, one of the new ones I believe, and we even got an early check in for free. everything was clean, very enjoyable

There is a part in the room that smells cockroach. The room didn’t have a phone. So there is no way to call the housekeeping to collect the garbage. We stayed for 3 nights. Always Woke up early in the morning and leave the hotel at 7am and comes back late at night. We don’t want to have room service while were out coz of our belongings.

It’s very noise as renovation in progress. The work started before 8am and we were woken up by the noise. Thus it was hard to stay in the room.

The breakfast was quite moderate. As everything was taken out of plasticbags and heated in the microwave oven.

Rooms a bit shabby, but understand is currently undergoing a revamp. Construction disruptions in front and on ground floor. Not enough lighting in room. Hate the very narrow shower in the bath.
