Little far out from city centre But there was a local bus service in location of the hotel along with a good taxi service

My room was near the kitchen ventilation and the building merchant's yard there was a lot of noise all night and then early in the morning

Property was great but on arrival we had booked 2 double rooms both with breakfast when we checked in our friends where given a twin room and on arrival for breakfast we where told breakfast was only paid on one room staff where helpful but no other room available

Rooms were not great. There was nothing to the marress literally lying on the bed base. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and the shower had no power at all. Would have been nice to get told they had a 21st and wedding that weekend so we were prepared.

Hotel as a whole was really modern and nice. Bar man was great. Room was a nice size burgers were good

Was not allowed to use in the in room phone to make a local call when the internet was down so no Wi-fi available. .

The first key card didn't work, but this was resolved.

The staff were very helpful and moved us when requested because of a noisy, sweary guest in a nearby room. The facilities were good and it was a good location for the ferry port.

I arrive at the hotel at 13:15 and immediately left for Liverpool. I arrived back at the hotel at 02:15am went to my room but checked out if the hotel at 08:30 so a very brief stay. I would stay there again.

The shower screen leaked and toilet roll holder was too small for the roll. So when it fell off, it was straight into the water that leaked from the shower. Soggy bog roll isn't a good idea!

The food was really good in the bar. I had a chicken wrap. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Greeting

Not the best greetings from male reception. Just went through the motions & no offer of toast at breakfast. One pair of pants left in a draw but not really an issue 👍🏼 room was nice and clean. Hotel looked like it had been tidied up ,decor & outside looked really nice since last we stayed 👍🏼👍🏼

Room was a little bit done in, some switches and lights weren't working. The heating was controlled by the hotel rather than room so we couldn't get much in the way of warmth at night. Bed was 2 twins pushed together into a makeshift double which caused an uncomfortable night's sleep with the groove in the middle creating some discomfort.

The staff were all wonderful and helpful, even down to the cleaning team. We really enjoyed our food here, the breakfasts were great and the evening menu was really tasty too. Location wise, it wasn't too difficult to Uber into the city and was, for the money we paid a pleasant stay

I was given a room facing the main road , so in the early morning it was noisy with the trucks.

Wifi didn’t work on any of my devices. Refurb meant a lot of noise in the morning when I had planned to sleep late - no prior notice of work being undertaken. Had I known I may have cancelled my booking for an alternate location. No fridge in room.
