Nothing not to like but probably better suited for those exploring the local area by car rather than on foot.

Great communication prior to the arrival and during the stay. Individual, unique, charming cottage and lovely welcoming, generous hosts. Lots of great touches, wildflowers in the bedroom, decaf options to drink, fresh home-made bread, green cleaning products! Relaxed timings and a share in a beautiful and spiritually uplifting garden watching the nesting birds.

Only things really was the door was very stiff to close, wood I assume had expanded. And there isn't actually a key to the bedroom room, but when I was going to leave, Elaine made that no trouble and asked if I'd like the key to the middle door that separates their home and the rented space (bathroom and bedroom) I said yes please, and I had that for a little bit until I came back, returned it so she could collect used pots (to wash up etc) - No trouble :)

Everything was beautiful and comfortable here. Elaine was the sweetest, kindest, mother like host I could've wished for, she was just wonderful. I had just come out of hospital, very tired and in pain, she was amazing. PG tip teabags! - You know it's decent. Everything I needed. Could've stayed for an entire week. Parking on site, beautiful little bathroom. Loads of plugs everywhere to charge devices, comfort bed and blankets, lots of cushions and window seat looking into a large back garden (I didn't have a chance to walk around because of pain but will in the future) Warm, lots of little freebee breakfast bits, biscuits, fresh homemade bread... Just... literally so so nice! I can't wait to stay again!

Really lovely and cosy room. The bed was super comfortable and I personally loved the little fairy lights. Lovely snacks and homemade bread available. Lovely hosts who made us feel very comfortable. Wonderful location too and we enjoyed some beautiful walks. Such a perfect stay :)

Going home!

We really enjoyed our stay with Elaine and Bruce. They are lovely friendly hosts who make you feel at home straight away. Their property & garden are beautiful. It is such a nice peaceful area. We loved the decor in the room , it was very comfortable and breakfast was nice. Home made bread was a nice touch! We would love to stay at the Plovers Cottage again.

A very comfortable room with the opportunity to sit in the lovely garden. Breakfast a basic cold buffet but quite adequate and wonderful homemade bread. Good restaurants nearby. Elaine and Bruce couldn't have been friendly and helpful.

Cosy cottage feel, beautifully furnished, thoughtful extra touches (board games, phone charging cable, alarm clock) good choice of breakfast options was self service in your room, so easy to have breakfast in bed! Lovely garden and seating area. Hosts very welcoming and friendly.

A very cosy garden room with en-suite shower. A delicious array of continental breakfast options taken in your room or in the delightful garden a few straps from your door. Run by a very friendly and helpful couple who are available if needed but otherwise leave you in peace. Great location for the beach or Chichester, walks or pubs.

It was just fabulous! Very peaceful, clean and welcoming. Great tips on local places of interest and where to eat/drink. We made good use of the Roberts radio in the corner and the view from the little window seat is simply charming!

Home made bread and loads of extra options. I brought my own food, stored it in the fridge and warmed it up in the microwave. Ate outside in the lovely garden. Nice view and tranquil vibe.

I found the location so quiet and peaceful, a proper retreat, a place to get away from it all. Elaine and Bruce were the perfect hosts and the room was quaint, clean and homely. However the outstanding feature was the bed, i cant remember ever sleeping in a more comfortable bed.
