Beautiful clean cottage with amazing views from rear of property. River runs along end of garden. So relaxing to sit and look out at mountains and river. Weather not good however we visited Henrhyd waterfall which was spectacular after all of the rainfall.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, lovely and bright inside and a great use of windows but still feels nice and cosy. The garden was stunning especially with the river and will definitely return in the warmer weather. The host was super helpful which made for a great stay and we enjoyed the Welsh cakes kindly left for us. Also loved the log burner for the chilly nights. Will 100% return

Beautiful open space kitchen area with two sofas/lounge area, with lots of natural daylight, opening out onto the balcony. Wonderful to have a river in the back garden! Lovely furnishings throughout, with detail really looked after. Very calm space to be in.

    Nothing it was superb

This cottage is a fabulous place to stay. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. Its very well presented & there is a real attention to detail. We wanted for nothing & there was even a welcome basket & milk etc so even if you arrived with nothing you could still make a cup of tea. The view from the kitchen out onto the river & mountains is spectacular.

The parking facility was abit annoying , as it was right next to the road not actually near the property, had to get out of car into the bush which was a tight squeeze, but we managed.

Everything was clean & cozy. Beautiful views to wake up to, with the sound from the passing river which was very relaxing. Cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

nothing the host can do but the main road directly outside with busy and fast traffic was unsettling especially given the precarious parking . also made for noise at night given we were there in a heatwave so windows needed to be open. a minor inconvenience though

beautiful cottage, lovely garden, superbly fitted out and pleasing decor. amazing bed! host was super helpful and friendly. great location for small tours around.

    Nothing, everything was perfect

Location is absolutely perfect. The back garden is facing the river, woods and mountains. The cottage is beautiful, clean and full of light. There is underfloor heating and the host left some Welsh cakes, fresh eggs, milk, jam and bread for us. It was very kind and we very much appreciated it. The kitchen has all necessary appliances so if you would like to make a breakfast or dinner you have everything you need. The beds are comfy and there were plenty of towels. We will certainly recommend this cottage to our friends and family.

Gorgeous little cottage, perfectly located a few minutes from the Caves and less than 2min from the Penny Cae Inn. Loved the huge garden and direct access to the river at the back. The view from the kitchen/living room is fabulous and wonderful to enjoy with your morning coffee. Absolutely want to come back in better weather.

Beautiful cottage and garden. We loved everything about the house. Underfloor heating was a dream on the cooler evenings and the views out of the kitchen window were sublime. The owners left a little care package which was very sweet and also provided a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat for our 16 month old which was such a bonus. Our toddler loved watching the river at the bottom of the garden. Close to the National showcaves and multiple walks including some waterfall walks! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Would 100% recommend!
