Fantastic English breakfast with haggis, all things fresh made. Very lovely and polite hosts. There are 4 available rooms and 4 parking spaces, so parking should not be a problem. The house lays at the western end of Callander, behind the house flows the river, and you can go through the lovely garden to the shore. You can see the garden and the river from the room, so it's quiet at night. Very nice!

Brian and Valerie are fabulous hosts! Staying with them is a perfect combination of homely and professional. Breakfast is delicious and everything about their place is comfortable and carefully considered. It felt like a real treat.

The room and breakfast were perfect and the garden was peaceful. The cabin topped the garden off we had somewhere to sit in the evenings away from the midge :-)) which I must say were not too bad at all. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home.

Everything was perfect

Beautiful B&B and very comfortable. We only stayed one night as we were moving around Scotland but would have been more than happy to stay longer. Brian and Valerie were very welcoming. The place was spotless and the decor was beautifully done. Also a gorgeous garden with beautiful views. The room had everything we needed and the position was great too.

The room was splendid, French window out into the garden. Everything that you could possibly want was available for breakfast.

Dining in the room is a challenge , fold out table is too high for chairs from garden house , and cramps the kitchen.

Riverside House was beautiful. The location and views are stunning, the room was very clean and Brian and Valerie were exceptional hosts. We will definitely be returning.

well positioned within walking distance of town centre. Lovely river views, nice garden with plenty of seating. Stayed twice- one night at each end of our trip, both rooms lovely & comfortable beds. Hosts were really friendly & helpful, breakfasts delicious, fruit salad with yoghurt & oats exceptional. Would recommend.

Brian and Valerie were such amazing hosts, so welcoming, and very helpful when we had to reschedule our time of arrival. The location provides a very calming, relaxing and cozy vibe. With a nice garden They have vegetarian options available among the delicious and abundant breakfasts dishes. Coffee is great!

Nothing was too much for our hosts, they go out of their way to help you and the breakfast provided is sensational. Homemade jams, shortbread and banana loaf were an added bonus, very nice touch.

The bed was a little hard.

The hosts were warm & welcoming. The location was excellent, on the river with wildlife and motion to keep your interest. An excellent breakfast is provided with a good selection of options. The gluten free food was superb and again, a good variety was offered. Room 4 has direct access to the garden and a patio area, with a table and seating. The kitchenette enabled us to prepare meals.

We had a fabulous þwo day say, the location is devine with patio doors leading out to the amazing garden with river views. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming going over and above,Valerie thank you for ironing my full wedding outfit with a smile, it really was refreshing and we felt so at home. The food was delicious and a great range on offer with home made dumpling on the side to take back to your room for later. Would definitely recommend, thank you again Brain, Valerie & Bertie the dog for a fantastic stay.

The location is beautiful with the river running at the rear. Breakfast was really nice. There were so many little touches - homemade jam at breakfast and “good morning” imprinted in your toast there was also homemade shortbread in your room. Will definitely be going back.

the bed was a little on the firm side so didn’t sleep very well, but you can’t please everyone as it is personal preference.

lovely and friendly, very welcoming. very well fed at breakfast, nothing too much trouble, great variety, kept us going all day. room freshened and bins emptied daily.

No iron in the room.....but see above!!

Breakfast was excellent and nothing was any bother for the staff. The location was only a 10 minute walk from our party destination The proprietor ironed a shirt for me!!
