Nothing to dislike about the property.

Very clean, plenty of room, the kitchen is great having another tv and sofa. Every thing you need is in the house eg., iron and ironing board, hair dryer, towels, washing-up liquid etc. Just step out through the alley way and you are into the town, every thing near by, shops, beach pubs, yet the house is in a peaceful yard. A super homely house.

Only issues was the top floor bed and access I’m only 164cm and at 65 my limbo skills are not as sharp!!! we had to angle the bed so I could get past the brass bed end and sloping roof beams Also finding the sweet spot on the shower was fun!!!

Fantastic location and lovely property set out over 4 floors all the home comforts - once we had got our head around where to park the parking disc and permit system the holiday began ( more advance and clarity in explanation please ) located in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do

Council parking policy is not visitor friendly and the sea gulls are very noisy at night; I understand this is not the property owner's fault. Otherwise, the accommodation itself was very good. Hosts do everything they can to make it a very pleasant stay.

The Kitchen diner was roomy, clean and well equipped. We were happy to self-cater.

It was fine for us but over 4 floors may not be suitable for either elderly or people with mobility issues.

Lovely property , right in the heart of Whitby. Was so close to the bridge but in a quiet little nook so felt homely and private. Really clean and well loved house.

Nothing really but would say its not suitable for people with mobility problems. Getting into the property was problematic the first time. You have to turn the door knob anti clockwise. I had to phone to find this out. Sykes should put it in their information as requested by the owner. Parking can be expensive and nearest car park is cash or app. No cards.

Right in the centre of Whitby. Lovely cottage. Very stylish, clean and comfortable.

Parking is a bit of an issue. The host provides a disc and a scratch card to ensure parking is free, but we could only find a parking place about 8 minutes walk from the property. It wasn't a massive issue for us, but I can see it being inconvenient for some, especially if using the car each day if your stay or if you had kids in tow. The property is on 4 floors with the kitchen being on the lowest level, the living room on the next and then two subsequent levels for each bedroom. Fortunately my 89 year old dad was up to it, but if you have any mobility issues and can't climb loads of straits, then you may struggle.

Excellent location close to everything you need.

Amazing location. It's right becide everything but secluded and quiet. It had great facilities, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were great. We were a party of two and it was a great size for us. But it would be the perfect size for a larger group too.

There isn't anything notable to say here. Nothing we didn't like

Had a fantastic stay at Robins Nest. Loved everything about it - Location, size, facilities, style - It was awesome. So close to all the restaurants and shops too which was great and this didn't affect us during our stay.

The only niggle of the whole break was trying to negotiate the key lock in the dark when we first arrived. Once that was done then all was good.

Fantastic location and lovely, comfortable cottage. Unlike previous reviewers I appreciated the decor and homely touches (did they expect the owners to remove all cloth items? Maybe they should have worn their Hazmat suit instead). Being able to use the kitchen as a second comfortable room was also good.

Awful creaky metal bed impossible to sleep on as a couple unless stone deaf! Slightest movement triggered creaking. After 3am attempt to sleep on the sofa on first night, ended up dragging mattress onto floor to try to get any sleep for the rest of the week. (not easy in your 70s.) This has been noted by others but not acted upon. Left early because of sleep deprivation....shame because everything else was fine.

Very clean, well provisioned and decorated cottage in ideal position. Would have given high rating were it not for the problem detailed below.
