No taps in room at all just a sink so no access to water at all in room curtains we're broken beds are really in need of replacing as they have definitely seen better days shared bathroom floods when you take a shower plus public hair all over the place it was gross

I did not receive an email with my code, so I couldn't get into the facility, numerous attempt at calling different numbers and ringing the bell were unmet. Luckily I met a guy who let me in and gave me the emergency number. The staff member was not happy that I called the emergency number for was is apparently a 'non emergency' and said that I was emailed a code earlier in the day. I only ended up receiving the email the next morning, as I was about to leave the hostel. Very dissapointing, and if not for the kindness of the other resident who let me in and gave me the emergency number I would have spent the night outside.

Quaint hostel in heart of Liverpool, we only used it for sleeping, we arrived for football match at 3pm and came back at 1am and were gone by 8am for flight home, you wouldn't use this for a long stay holiday with family but for a few hours sleep it met our needs

I am disabled. I need a room on ground or 1st floor. They only had a room on the 2nd floor but didnt tell us that. Only 1 person on reception. When they leave nobody answers their phones. Nights and weekends you cant contact anybody.

No WiFi at all...asked about it and got no feedback...wouldn't even ring us a taxi...most hotels,guesthouses,hostels etc would have a taxi on speed dial...it promotes local business and overseas guests would feel at ease knowing a taxi is only a call away

Very basic, no telly kettle etc, just a bed and wardrobe and a small sink. It was ok for me as I only needed somewhere to put my head down.

Unclean, very uncomfortable bed and pillow, laundry room adjacent to my room with loud machines running all night, building was in a poor state.

Decent location not too far from the train station. Cheap.

Place seems a bit (okay, a bit more) run-down, with esp. the bathroom not being in the best shape. Also, the room door locks didn't instill confidence. Also, although the room had its own sink, the tap didn't work.

I needed an affordable one night non-dormitory accommodation close to the city center. With respect to this Royal Chambers met my expectations. Staff was really polite, and they seem to be putting an effort into improving the place. Also, the room was clean and spacious enough, had basic amenities.

Price was the only positive.. its just a little basic and dated. Bit of A walk to city centre.. 20 minutes. Just a little yesteryear.. funky ole smell.. its an old building..no real fault of anyone I wouldn't recommend.

Quiet

For the price I paid the accomodation met my expectations. Access was good. Stairs to upper floors were steep and a little narrow. Appearance not the greatest but on a value for money budget you get what you pay for

There was a sink in the room but no taps with it. The blinds were broken so light came in very early. Corridors, facilities and rooms could use a little TLC, all felt very run down.

Very friendly staff and the bed was comfy. Plenty of space in the room as well.

Clientele! Very basic. Shared bathrooms very basic. More of a YMCA feel than hotel.

Comfy bed. Very close to university buildings and the railway station. Nice welcome.
