Second stay here and super clean again. Hosts really friendly, helpful and rectified a very minor issue immediately. Met Baz the cat who was just as lovely as his owners.Very private and well equipped with lots of little extras so it feels like home. Milk, eggs, biscuits, coffee too etc all you need. There is a village a few miles up the road that has lots of shops and 2 supermarkets so ideal as a holiday base for longer stays. We will definitely return and look forward to enjoying all the outdoor space again. Victoria is an attentive host, she always responds quickly and tries to help in whatever way she can. That for us personally is one of the main reasons we return to places. I can 100% recommend Ruddingwood Lodge.

Weather could have been better! Would have been good to have condiments (salt/vinegar?) as we were only there for one night.

Very rural atmosphere and lots of outside space. Good and safe for playing. Good provision of toys and games. Friendly owner and liked the decking seating. All clean and comfy. 👍

Special thanks for the milk and organic free range eggs.we enjoyed the board games ( snake and ladder, chess and cards) . The Whole family love to come again . I couldn’t ask anything more. Wonderful lodge Surprisingly spacious and secluded, it's next to a field so would be great for outdoor games. Spotlessly clean and modern. Little extras like milk and travel packed Toothpaste and toothbrush... there's always one that forgets! There were fresh eggs and milk too, secluded

All that's needed is some mood lighting in the lounge and bedside lamps.

The lodge is absolutely spotless and new/modern. Loved the views and outdoor decking area is lovely. Victoria is so friendly and great to communicate with. Having tea, coffee, cafetiere provided and milk and fresh farm eggs.

Our host had thought of everything we might possibly need, leaving fresh eggs and milk for us too. The accommodation was very clean & the beds were comfortable. The location was quiet & 10 minutes from the wedding we were attending. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

The lodge was gorgeous, really modern and lovely decor. There was plenty of room and we had everything that we needed. There was a large field that would be perfect for kids to play on with some games already to play with like football and cricket.

The wooden steps leading up to the patio doors and decking are missing a rail as it is a sudden drop off to the side.

The cleanliness, quiet location, furnishings were all of an exceptionally high standard.

It's very easy to miss the entrance on a dark, wet night. There is a sign next to the entrance but you only see it if you look sideways as you pass. It's no biggy but maybe a small 'landmark' e.g. a flower tub, or sign perpendicular to the road by the entrance would be useful.

We were 3 adults here for work - we arrived in the dark and left in the dark so can't really comment on the grounds. The Lodge was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. We were sent clear instructions on how to get to the lodge prior to arrival.
