Absolutely stunning lodge. Everything was absolute perfection. Best lodge we have stayed in, by far. Also had a lovely hamper full of food and drink on arrival. Hosts exceeded our expectations by a long way :-)

Fantastic location looking over the river mouth with the beach in the near distance. The lodge was great, very modern and clean, with lots of living space and large bedrooms which made the stay with children much easier. Modern, simple to use appliances such as heating also made the stay hassle free. Appreciated the basket of essentials which was really useful when we turned up late with little for the kids to eat - saved another trip out after a long drive.

The one way system on site was not well sign posted, without the owners instructions we would have struggled to find the lodge. There was some road noise but this didn't impact our enjoyment of this weekend away.

The lodge is fantastic with great views. Loved walking on the beach. The extra special touches by the owner were thoughtfull and very much appreciated. The Christmas tree was lovely.

We liked everything. The Hosts might like to have a think about bedside lighting (at least the Master bedroom) as the ceiling lights did not cover the whole room ?

We found the Lodge very comfortable, well equipped and excellent accommodation for our 4 night stay. The facilities, general level of cleanliness and comfort far exceeded our expectations and would put many hotels to shame. The location of the lodge in Sandy Park Resort was excellent with wonderful views over the local estuary. The Location was quiet when we were there and at night you could have heard a pin drop which was lovely ! Anne and Peter (hosts) provided excellent service including a goodie bag and complimentary bottle of Pinot Grigio which was very welcoming. We did not “meet” our hosts but everything was well laid on with no problems - many thanks.

The accommodation was first class. Felt like a home, and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise. The views from the home were great, with binoculars supply to look at the passing ships. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend this property. Allen and Julie Griffiths

Nothing about the lodge itself but just people wandering about down side of lodges and kids playing football when we was trying to relax.

This place is absolutely stunning, highly recommend. We was greeted to a big hamper full of yummy goodies. The lounge and kitchen is just incredible. The view is just stunning. Beds were comfy although we wished it had been doubles and 1 single room as the singles wasnt that comfy for adults. Especially tall men.

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location/view is wonderful. The hosts are prompt and friendly regarding communication and we really appreciated the 'Welcome' basket full of goodies. Thank you!

Nothing- our little family member said she didn’t want to leave!

Everything! Perfectly situated- very welcoming. High standards throughout, especially cleanliness. All our needs were catered for- felt home from home. Lovely little thoughtful touches. Warm and toasty for our New Years breakaway. Lots of things to do, see and experience within close proximity. The host made themselves available and helped when we had a need to run by them.

The lodge was perfect in every way. Had everything we needed and more. Very spacious and immaculately clean with bedding made up for us and towels provided. lovey welcome pack which was a lovely touch and much appreciated ! Host was on hand when I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi (my fault hadn’t realised I needed to log in and set a password). All in all would highly recommend this lodge and will definitely book again.

This property was just amazing. We have nothing negative to say about our two-night stay. We will definitely be returning.

Would highly recommend this lodge and the owners. Anne was quick at replying to our queries and so very accommodating for our very last minute booking after we were let down with our previous accommodation. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, spotless, spacious and finished to a very high spec. The bedding and towels are exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfy, we didn’t want to leave! The owners thought of everything and even left a beautiful hamper (which after the previous 24 hours we had was very much welcomed). It’s in a perfect location too with sea views, great for our little ones too as it is all fenced off so they could play on the veranda. We will certainly be back, thank you so much.
