Location and area is not the best especially at night but there is public transport nearby. Safety deposit was handled really weird though, I was asked to pay in cash at check in and the receptionist didn't want to give me any receipt. When I said I'm not going to just give out £20 without any paperwork (even if it's the standard process) he wrote some notes on the back of the proof of payment (for the accomodation) If you charge your guests with a deposit, make sure you do the necessary paperwork like everywhere else or charge on the original transaction.

They were flexible with the late check in, thanks again Steven! Room was as described, it's OK for a short stay on budget.

I did not know in advance that the breakfast is not in the hotel, and not available before 8:00. In the morning I asked for the breakfast voucher, and was informed that the breakfast venue would not open until 8:30 and no food would be available before 8:45. This was far too late for me. I was informed I can receive a refund on the breakfast and am currently waiting for this.

You need to be patient with the building's water and limited sound proofing. It's an old building, so you have to expect it.

Basic room with bed, TV, desk. Nothing extra. Everything was fine. The place doesn't wow, but if you just need it as somewhere to be based out of, you'll be more than happy. A good local neighbourhood too, if you just want to do some low-key puttering.

We didn't get a breakfast option to choose from, the breakfast was included but didn't state what was available. So when we arrived at the cafe we just got given the standard breakfast they serve. The bed was really hard and there wasn't an option for the heating to be turned down the room got uncomfortable hot so we couldn't sleep.

Remote doesn't work. No hot water. Was itching all night. Then, I discovered no breakfast room.. Breakfast is up the road, which is no good for me as I have mobility problems.

We were down in the basement and people or cleaners kept running up and down the stairs till late and the mattress needs changing springs coming though needs new mattress very uncomfortable wasn’t happy.

Size of room i wanted double but it wasng my idea of a double, also too many stairs i suffer with my knees ,mentioned this but i think it got lost in translation as i had top floor. But in general place was ok good location for me personally..

It was clean well decorated but my old bear bug about rooms. Just coz u can get a double bed in it, doesnt make it a double room. I was walking like a crab around the room... bed was comfy but couldnt turn radiator up or down ..

No towels, we had to ask front desk staff I like Steven he had been very helpful to us and he had been really very friendly and even allowed our luggage to be stored in their storage cupboard so I and my wife could visit tourist spots without our heavy luggage, the location is also very good for the transport
