Only spotted the garden furniture on the last day when leaving. It's tucked out of sight under the stairs. Main bedroom and bathroom (shower only) are rather small.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation just 12 minutes walk along a quiet road to the shore of Wastwater. Footpaths leading to the southern area of the lake virtually from the door and a short drive to parking for Scarfell Pike.

The shower was ok but not good. Very clean and stylish but low pressure and not that hot.

We had specifically searched for somewhere with a fire, and were disappointed to find it was electric. Not a huge issue but just not what we expected. Otherwise lovely property.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit feeble.

excellent communication with owners. Great description of the location, parking, facilities. Apartment was clean, well equipped. Very cozy and comfortable. The views from apartment windows are spectacular. Lots of amazing walks straight from the door step. My friend and I stay over Christmas. It was very quiet everywhere and we had absolutely the best, relaxing, time ever. I personally found very peaceful not to have any reception on my phone anywhere around the accommodation but it may bother someone. There is no reception. Wifi in the apartment works well but it is not the strongest. I will recommend to read all the travel information before you travel and check maps etc. My friend was clever, did not read the info and get lost :))) Read all the info in the apartment booklet. Than you will be able to easily navigate your self thru heting, hot water etc. I wish I can live permanently in place like Scafell view apartment. :) For nature, walking/hiking lovers it is a true gem apartment to stay. I all ready booked another stay. Enjoy everybody. You will love it.

Shower flow was too slow (more of a sprinkle).

Stunning location. Beautiful apartment. Nice and war. Easy instructions to work all things neccesary. Heating, smart TV etc. Landline provided which was a bonus to call elderly mother when no moble reception.

Instructions to find the cottage were slightly tricky to follow. Once we'd parked it took us 10 minutes of exploring to find the right entrance. More signage would be really appreciated.

What an amazing find. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful with stunning views all around. I think I've just found my new favourite walking destination and I will be back!!!

Only a small thing but we weren't sure what to do about recycling. We found a recycling centre in Gosforth at the car park.

The apartment is lovely. It is well equipped and has everything you need for a stay. There is good wifi and access to Netflix which is handy for rainy days.. The setting is fabulous - wonderful views of the mountains and instant access to walks. It's a perfect base for a holiday in the Lake District.
