The bed was a little too hard for me ,but that is a personal view ,other than that nothing at all,

It's a really lovely place to stay, really warm and cozy, everything you need and more, a lovely bottle of wine and hot cross buns left for us on arrival,and also breakfast and snacks left in the kitchen, clean and tidy and well presented property,very comfortable seating in living room,good walking just outside annex for the dogs as the weavers way crosses just down the lane, very quite and peaceful surroundings, definitely visit again at some point, highly recommend,

Initially found locating property difficult but fine once I did find it. Signage could be better, would have been difficult to arrive in dark.

Lots of breakfast options left for me to provide a good start to the day. Well provisioned.

There was nothing to dislike.

The annexe is very private as regards the main house. The house and annexe are very much in the countryside, so lots nature and peace. The country lane is wide enough for one car but on our journeys there and back we only encountered one other car. The local lady driver quickly reversed into a " pull in" area and briefly had a chat with us. She turned out to be a next door neighbour to our accommodation. The annexe was very warm and cosy. Comfortable lounge settee. Very clean, excellent facilities, great shower. Good sized bed, very comfortable. We slept well. Lovely to look out of the bedroom window at trees, fields and birds singing. The bedroom is east facing so we had a glorious morning sun. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cereals for all ages and taste, fresh orange juice, loaf of bread, yoghurts, home made jam and marmalade. Yvonne who was out when we arrived, called on us later in the evening to check all was ok. She was a delight to chat to both in the evening and in the morning when she checked that everything had been ok for us. The bottle of wine and 2 slices of delicious home made cake were a wonderful bonus. Yvonne makes all her cakes and kindly let us buy some for our family when we returned home. Not all the cakes made it home!! We would happily stay there again and strongly recommend it. Thank you Yvonne for allowing us to stay in your wonderful annexe and the kindness you showed us.

Access down 1 way dirt track road and had rained a lot so was flooded, managed to get through it but car got very muddy as met another car coming the other way.

All the added little extras made us feel very welcome. Excellent value for money. Beautiful view of garden and field at the back. Very peaceful. We also loved that fact that its dog friendly!

The property is in a very remote location and although this is clear from the listing is definitely something to be considered. We went after a spell of heavy rain and the roads in were flooded which made for an interesting drive in!

From the moment we arrived we had a lovely welcome and the gifts of cake and wine along with a lovely selection of milk, juice, bread yoghurts etc... was very welcome. The property is clean and has all the facilities described.

All diets catered for, cereal and milk for me, cereal bars for my son and bread and butter and jam for my husband. Tea coffee etc all there - couldn't ask for more!

It was quite challenging to find but it is remote.

It had everything we needed. The large garden was great for our little dog who enjoyed the space . It was homely rather than chic which suited us. There was wine , mince pies and dog treats laid on and plenty of provisions. Host was lovely.

Perfect location for walking with the Weavers Way a few yards away. Yvonne was friendly and helpful. The annex is warm and comfy and had everything needed for an easy relaxing stay. Shower had good temperature and pressure.
