Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The door man upon check-in and Diana upon check out were an absolute delight, fantastic service and were super friendly. There's not many places in London where you can get 3 single beds so this place was a great for us.

KuwaitThe pillows were a little too soft. The center area of the hotel has a bit of a pigeon problem, especially early in the morning. Hopefully more pigeon spikes can be installed in the future (not a problem if you are an early riser).
Very friendly staff (Thanks Aurora and Yousef), very clean room and it’s close to Hyde Park and Queensway underground station.

United KingdomRooms are very small. Although I had my confirmation on my phone I was asked for ID at reception. I’m not aware of the Uk having an official ID policy. If you don’t drive or have a passport then you don’t have photo ID. I am 62 years old and have never ever been asked for ID in the Uk. Is the hotel above the law ?

TurkeyI stayed 2 nights, and there was 1 tea bag for me. I didn't want to ask to have more, they should have left at least one for each day. The sound isolation of corridors could be better. The worst thing is, the air conditioner was working too loudly and I think it only heated the place it is located.
I love the location! The staff were kind, smiley, and helpful.

The staff was so welcoming! Great place to stay in London for a few days. Close to Kensington Gardens and Queensway which has loads of food options. Close to 2 tube stations which makes it easy to get around, would recommend!

AustraliaOne of our rooms had a constant loud humming. I thought the rooms were a little small, but adequate for our needs.
Location was excellent. A short walk to Bayswater Underground. Close to shops, restaurants, several pubs and a Booths pharmacy. The hotel had its own restaurant where we had the choice of continental or full breakfast. The food was good and the service excellent. The doorman at the hotel deserves particular mention as he was always on hand to give a friendly greeting or farewell. We looked forward to seeing him each day. Reception was manned 24 hours and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

United StatesI got a little disappointed when a day before I checked out I called(twice actually) and asked them to provide me with some fresh towels and couple of coffee tubes because that day room hasn’t been cleaned and the housekeeper hasn’t been in my room to clean it and to add some necessary stuff(towels, coffee, tea, etc.) I am sad to say that both times I called they politely wrote down what I needed but they didn’t send me what I asked for. I wish that little incident didn’t happen but it did.☹️ Otherwise everything was very good and I liked my stay there.
I liked my room. It was small but comfortable and cozy. It was also clean and had almost everything I needed (mini fridge would be nice in the room and a microwave).

The room was compact (single) but clean and comfortable. In fact, compared to some other single rooms I've stayed in, it was a good size. The location was very convenient. The reception and door staff were very warm, attentive and polite.
