We never usually bother with a tv in a hotel room but this time would have appreciated one to watch the England rugby! A decaffeinated coffee option would have been appreciated too.

The walls are paper thin. We were woken by someone in the next room going to the toilet in the middle of the night and it was as if they were in our room. Baby crying woke us up at 0700, could hear the mother shushing it back to sleep.

It wasn’t soundproof. Rooms 1 and 2 are next to each other so you can easily hear people talking, plugging in phones etc. Co-op delivery lorry turned up at 6.15am on Sunday and was really noisy for next 45mins. All the above solved by ear plugs!

The usual problem, there never seems to be a socket near a mirror to style my hair in front of - it seems to be a problem most places I stay. The coffee pod machine was in an awkward place, impractical - I value practicality when I travel so worth a comment in case it could be relocated elsewhere

Great location, easy to access and communicate with the host. Particularly taken by the very deep blue walls and pleased it was quiet despite being on a main road.

Tiny thing it was very warm, no aircon that we knew of, but it's rare for it to be so muggy at this time of year.

Being greeted by the owner was really nice and peersonal. The room and decor is beautiful and the room is huge, shame we couldn't have spent more time there. The towels, slippers location loved it

Woken up at 0630 with a very noisy CO-OP delivery next door, unloading for about 40 mins, so noisy there was no chance of sleeping through it. You can also hear people in the other rooms, don’t recommend this hotel unless you are a very heavy sleeper, such a shame.

Gorgeously decorated and the most comfortable bed ever! Staff facilitated an early check in so we could get ready before a wedding, thank you! The rooms are very nice.

The very bright green light in the ceiling that was on all night

There was no full-length mirror, us girls like to see our feet/shoes before going out. And the lighting over the mirror wasn't bright enough for applying makeup. The only very annoying thing, there was a green light shining brightly from the ceiling which stayed on all night. Not sure if it was for security/fire or what but it felt like a full moon was in the bedroom - we were just lucky we had had a few glasses of bubbles to conk out with. There was a plug socket not properly screwed into the wall too.

The room did feel special, clean, and in a good location. The bed was really comfortable and it was a joy to collapse into it at the end of the night.

The bedroom had a small green light the was switched on. We didn’t notice it until night, it was at the end of the bed, ceiling. I couldn’t sleep and couldn’t turn it off. If it’s a security light it’s need to be switched off, very unpleasant

Woken both days before 6am by coop delivery next door (id recommend the read room 3 to avoid this). No TV but great Wi-Fi so worth taking a devise.

The room got quite hot at night and there wasn't a temperature control. The neighbouring room had exceptionally loud guests which disturbed us (although we appreciate this is not the hotels fault and just bad luck!).

The room was beautiful. Very well put together, spacious and clean. Easy to access and easy to check in. There isn't hotel parking, but there is a free car park a 60 second walk from the hotel which was easy enough to find The host/staff we friendly and helpful. I needed an iron for one of my outfits and after I requested it they responded quickly and organised one to be brought up to my room.

No code access sent beforehand and no answer when we phoned to get it, so we had to wait in the car on a freezing night, to get Booking.com to help us. Just one small table in the room, nowhere to apply makeup or store food and drinks. Camera on the landing looks right into the room every time the door is opened. Open shower, so the floor gets wet when showering.

Large room right in the main st of Tarpoley. Decent size bathroom and the bed was very comfortable.

Communication was excellent, owner went above & beyond to assist about our stay . Even let the choose the rooms available, which were all beautifully decorated. We choose , larger room looking over the village . Bed extremely comfortable & had a fab . nights sleep. Loads of places to eat / drink on the doorstep . Would definitely stay again & recommend.

No double glazing. On a street with a pub impossible to sleep. Metal milk crate below window. Decided to leave and go home. If noise doesn’t bother you it’s good, if it does do not book!

Unfortunately the heating was knocking all night and then at around 5am deliveries start for the Co-Op shop immediately outside the front window.

Beautifully Decorated room, nice bed linen etc. Good Bathroom.
