Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe bathroom is very small, and I always bring my own clothes pegs.
The studios (we stayed in a large one for the fourth time) are also well-suited for longer stays. The kitchenette is well-equipped for preparing small items. The bed (only 140 cm) was comfortable. The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. In the basement, there are two washing machines and dryers, as well as ironing facilities. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and shops nearby. King's Cross and Euston Station, as well as Russell Square and several bus stops, are within walking distance.

IndiaSize of bathroom and bathing space was too small and atleast 1 foot additional width could have mitigated the one snd only problem of the property. The electricity points should have been more atleast one more in the area outside toilet where ond could not see what was lying in the closet. So feel that should be added and wattage of bulbs at other places should be slightly more. As the height of fairer sex is slightly lesser, working at the kitchen was tougher especially cleaning the utensils and see and take out things from kitchen admirahs should be easier, thsn what it is at present.
As in apartment, didnot got the breakfast from the host.

BelgiumI might have missed a bit of storage in the bathroom. The shelf above the sink was too small to put stuff on. Maybe a little basket or extra compact cupboard to the wall? And a little shelf in the shower for soap/shampoo would have been handy too!
The people at the reception were really nice. I felt welcome and got all the right information. They immediately said if I needed anything or was missing something I could come tell them and they would help us (they already provided coffee, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap and a shower cap which was really handy). The room was great value for the price. A decent sized kitchen and fridge, a window that could open and extra fan for hot nights (a lot of other stays i researched in this price range didnt have windows that could open or other solutions for hot days). The bathroom is rather small but well designed so didnt feel like a problem. The water pressure was really good, which seemed to be a problem at other properties around London. Also the location was perfect! A 10 minute walk from King's Cross but still in a quiet area with small pubs and restaurants, and perfect location to get around London easily. Overall I think this was great value for the price. I will definitely come back when visiting London.

AustraliaNo lift, so heavy suitcases can be an issue if your room is located on the upper floors. Ask for a ground floor room before you come if this an issue for you.

United KingdomRoom advertised as having Aircon but there was only a fan. Despite being there in one of the hottest weeks, we were able to mostly stay cool. Bathroom was very narrow, but fine and clean
The location is fantastic. Decent size for two for a week. Although in a busy area, the room was quiet. Bed was comfy. Very clean. Great to have a little kitchen area (although we didn't really use it) Decent size fridge for drinks.

SpainThe room was small but that was not surprising, considering it is in London. The worst thing about the room was that it was extremely light. The curtains were virtually transparent. They need to have black out curtains.
The location was excellent and the whole process was incredibly easy. The reception desk was ever so useful.

United KingdomThe stairs!! And size of room - feel like it’s marketed to deceive. Had there been a warning about stairs I would have selected a lower room even at more cost. The size of the room was also a shock, the HUGE wardrobe just wasn’t needed considering the size of the room - but the bed was VERY comfy
So close to amenities and the city. The Rocket pub does excellent food inc breakfast and at good prices for London.
