The back garden was overgrown and still had the old window frames which had been replaced.

For us the drive is fantastic due to being in a works van with tools and materials on board. It was our 4th time here, an absolutely cracking place. Modern kitchen with all the mod cons. Large dining table and a separate lounge with NEW double doors leading to the raised balcony. 3 great sized double rooms and with comfortable beds. Clean towels and linen. The bathroom has a great shower over the bath. .

We loved the whole property, easy to find, and self check in with the instructions provided. It was very clean, tidy, and cosy, especially in the living room, to relax and watch TV. The bedrooms are big and the beds are very comfortable, for a great night sleep. Also, the communication was excellent, making sure everything was OK for us, and we managed to get sorted ok. Loved the location as well, only a short drive/taxi ride down the road the utilita arena. Would definitely stay here again in the future when coming to Sheffield.

No mainstream TV. Only apps. Which I suppose to most people wouldn't be a problem, but I do like ITV 4 late afternoons and Dmax in the evenings. The ITV HUB did not work, but that happens in most parts of the country 😀😀😀 I've found out as I travel a lot for work

Detached house large private driveway. Communication was very quick. A well equipped modern kitchen, however I failed to find the chopping/sharp knives. Lovely bedrooms with touch type bed side lamps. Large double beds very comfortable. Great power in the shower and large bathroom.

Heating was off although the instructions did say how to turn it on. Shower was cold in the morning. Would have been handy if the owner had been able to turn them on remotely like Hive etc

Downstairs could do with painting but this did not detract from our stay. Tea, coffee , biscuits and washing up liquid. The only thing I would say it would have been nice to have had a small bottle of milk as we did not have a car we struggled to get some. However this in no way spoiled our stay.

Amazing kitchen. Very large property. Excellent value. Loved the garden. Very well equiped house and all rooms well presented. Large selection of buscuits. Tea and coffee laid on for guests. Owner even checked to see if we had everything we needed after check in Highly recommend this house

Bed was softer than I like but that wouldn’t stop me booking again.

Great location for our event at Ice Sheffield, good size house with double beds in all rooms, perfect for teenagers! The host has included nice touches like complimentary tea & coffee and bathroom products. Good communication and easily contacted when needed. Some parts of the house were a bit tired looking but the house was clean and tidy. Easy to self check-in, quiet area.

No big deal, but there was no bottle opener or fresh coffee (just instant), and only 4 wine glasses.

Great location for what we needed. 10 mins drive into Sheffield town too.

I like the landlady so feel horrible saying this, but the property is made to look good for the photos, but when you are there, there are a lot of physical imperfections like previous damp being painted over, door locks being flimsy, stains/burns on carpet. Back garden not being cut and the fence being down. The main thing was walking in to a wall of 64 degree heat and having to turn off the boiler to fix the problem, so not hot water…

There was plenty of space. The landlady is pleasant.

Many aspects of the property could use minor repairs - Couch has sunk at the back, not comfortable - Toilet cistern sitting an inch off the wall and wobbly. - Toilet seems to leak some water into the floor when flushed. - Bath side panelling very bowed. - Downstairs flooring loose in some areas, particularly by the front door. When we checked in (~7pm), the washing machine was running, which we thought was strange. Also there were recently washed (damp) linens hung over the radiators to dry, so the house was cold for a while after we removed these. A few hours later (most of us were asleep) someone knocked on the door and asked to collect the washing. Not a big problem but definitely strange, and a few people in the house were woken up by this exchange. There was also a pile of unopened mail sitting in the kitchen, addressed to various people, which seemed odd. Overall the property has a lot of potential but a few aspects could be improved.

House was freezing on arrival- weather cold so would have expected heat on to a level so not freezing- no instructions for heating and how to operate- then obviously took hours to be a comfortable temperature! Lots of cobwebs in lounge on walls near ceiling
