To be honest, the water flow through the tap was poor. And it was difficult to fill a kettle at the sink. I struggled to get the TV to work. Possibly it was just tired batteries. (Room 5). The Reception was a little disconcerting. It could do with having a loud bell.

One of the better places on my road trip. Surprisingly friendly in an off beat genuine way. Close to the centre and cheap Indian restaurants. Good parking. Quite idiosyncratic and funny in lots of ways. Very good breakfast at an unbeatable price. I liked the wardrobe that did not have a door. Generally, I do not use hotel furniture because I am scared of leaving stuff behind. The area was full of old and interesting buildings. (Shame about the George Christie clock tower, that the Council demolished under cover of darkness).

Room was a good size and clean - altho' perhaps a little short on hanging space. Location was handy to shops, restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking. We only had light 'continental' breakfast which was good value and very adequate for us.

When we arrived we asked first to see the room which the large male member of staff took offence at this request flailing his arms about like an inverted turtle 🐢 he had no manners whatsoever when he escorted us to our room he shut doors in our faces. Just not a nice person 😕

Breakfast was fair but bacon and sausages didn't seem freshly made. Female staff really friendly

It was just a single bed in a small room, but, if that was all they had I wouldn’t mind staying there again!

Not too far from the train station and not too far from my mother’s care home.

The basement room was a little cold, with only light-weight covers and no blankets, but when we asked the host provided a portable heater that did the trick. (Fortunately we asked before hosts went off-duty at 8:00pm.) The bathroom door creaked horribly, so we didn’t move it much at night. Only one room key.

We arrived very early, hoping to stash our luggage, but they let us have the room immediately. The breakfast was a very good value, whether full or continental. The room was large, and the facilities were clean. Towels were large, and the shower had enough (and hot enough) water once we figured out how to use it. The room had an electric kettle and tea makings, although no milk.

Unfortunately the water pressure in the shower wasn't good but it did work and I managed to have a shower. It won't stop going back to stay there.

I enjoyed my stay at the lost guest house. It was the perfect location for me, the bed was comfortable and the room nice and warm. When I checked in the receptionist was helpful and friendly.i I didn't have time for breakfast but I'm sure I'll stay again when I will certainly try their very reasonably priced breakfast.

The room was a little unclean in terms of the windows being covered in cobwebs and small things here and there that honestly you would expect from a family room which I don't fault them on. The shower was also quite slippery when having a shower.

It was a great location close to the town so could really take it all in. It was a great sized room super spacious and could fit so many and a good sized bathroom as well.

Food was great but felt that it could do with a bit of updating, ie, more emphasis on vegetarian and/ or low carb choices. Beautiful, historic house but I felt that the breakfast room could be moved to a bright downstairs room with windows. It would be a real treat to eat in a room with a touch of historical splendour

Excellent location, right in the centre of town, close to all the historic places of interest. Really clean and comfortable. Just the ticket for a short stay in Stirling. Found the hosts warm and welcoming, kind and thoughtful. I would definitely go back

Payment was supposed to be on arrival but full amount was taken 3 days before arrival, but not a great problem.

I liked everything, my room was very nice, clean, warm, excellent WiFi. The cooked breakfast was very good, nice and tasty. Location is great, so close to shopping centre, train station etc. Staff very nice and welcoming ie: fancied some chocolate but it was raining and did not want to go out in the rain. 10 minutes later!! knock at my door and the lovely lady brought me some chocolate. How kind and thoughtful.
