Couldn’t fault anything

Myself and my partner loved the Marina, apartment and location. Everything for us was great. We had a lovely weeks break. Very relaxing and the scenery was astonishing

Some tap covers were loose and kept coming out but were working fine with some adjustments

The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable. The location was easy to find and had good parking space near the place. Instructions were clear and space was also enough for our family.

Only slight issue was the washing machine was a bit smelly but I reported it and they said the would sort that out. I didn't need to use it so not a problem for me.

Just about everything, it was clean and tidy, the fridge had a bottle of milk ready and there were some tea bags. Location was good for me as I visited the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss several times and its only about 4 miles away. It's close to the M6 but there was little noise when the balcony door was closed and the flat I was in had the bedroom on the 'other side' of the apartment away from the motorway. Not sure what the flats on the opposite side of the marina were like for noise as their bedroom were on the M6 side. I will stay again.

There were a few niggly bits like the door handles squeaking which was fine during the day but you felt like you could wake the whole house up if you got up during the night. There were also quite a few cobwebs but being rural you can't exactly keep the lodgers out . Other than that it was an extremely pleasant stay and I didn't want to leave.

As soon as we walked in, I felt at home. It was a very relaxing atmosphere to the whole building. I can't wait to book my next visit. I went with family but would feel very safe and relaxed on my own too.

Nice location - convenient as it was close to M6 for family meet up. Very quiet and felt remote. Relaxing stay. Hotel nearby at marina entrance was decent for food and drinks. Day trip to Morecambe and Lancaster very nice.

Balcony view of the marina. Little touches that made the stay easier such as the complementary supplies, the courtesy lights, TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge and the guide to the area. Very good sized rooms and excellent quality of equipment and furniture. Also access to the pub, the canal walk and the facilities at Greenlands mean you’ve got three things to do on the doorstep in walking distance. Arnside and Silverdale coast is 10 mins by car and lovely.

We said it the last time we visited: there remains a distinct lack of crockery and cutlery. A little more forethought and an increase in numbers would make all the difference with food preparation and increase convenience and comfort

Wasn't a lot not to like apart from the fact that it is a little to near the motorway which we didn't know before we booked so a lot of traffic noise but apart from that all good

very clean, comfortable and spacious with lovely views of the marina the grounds are very well kept as is the accommodation. A good base if you are doing the lakes, dales and other locations in the north west of England. Great farm shop and cafe directly opposite accommodation and lovely pub in the village of Holme for food.

Not alot of tea bags, coffee sugar , but I'm sure if I asked for more , it wouldn't be a problem staff seemed nice

Could have had parking instructions included with the check in, wasn’t quite sure where was the correct parking location, cracked floor tiles in the bathrooms could do with being replaced

Need new pillows

Quiet and central lovely country side apartment very clean and had everything needed. Only gripe was the pillows need replacing very flat Outlook on to the marina fab plus fantastic canal walk with plenty of bird life and seats to sit and ponder

Doors/stairs were quite creaky and noise from downstairs travels quite easily upstairs. This was important to us as we had our 5 month old baby with us although luckily he slept through and maybe helped us be a bit more nimble trying to get upstairs without making too much noise!

Very clean, nice size rooms and had all the amenities mentioned in the booking information. We had a Marina view apartment so was nice to look out onto the water and the view further on. Was a great base for us and would definitely recommend and will book again when we are visiting family. Close by to a popular pub (Longlands) for food out, very easy reach for walking along the canals and also has a family friendly farm just round the corner.
