Made my weekend a beautiful experience

When using the bathroom facilities, the mini bin in the bathroom hasn't been emptied, and was completely full with used personal care products such as tampons. Also the complimentary shower gel was only 1/4 to 1/2 full.

That the value for money exceeded our expectations

    Excellent overall

Being hyper-critical the cooked breakfast was good but could have been a little better in a couple of ways. The room similarly was small, but it did say it would be, but I think it could have been a bit better. The fold-up table would have been better if it was a wall fixed hinged shelf instead. The kettle was cheap and cheerful but actually not that safe, as the cable was too short to fit properly on said table, and there was no other place to plug it in. My only other niggle was the lack of a nonslip surface or mat in the shower.

Overall my experience of this hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Inn was a delightful building. I would recommend it and would stay here again if I was in the area.

Room (8) on the small side but adequate, thought quite expensive , Uk can learn a lot from European accommodation With regards to pricing and facilities in the rooms.

It's not really a negative. We have kingsize at home, double was comfortable, and the other half still hogged the duvet. We didn't like leaving great stay

Maybe a king size bed would have been nice but this is not a criticism.

We had a friendly welcome and all the staff were happy and helpful and friendly. Our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. The 17th century pub was quirky and comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

My only criticism was the bathroom sink needs attention, slow drainage. And the toilet roll holder bought nearer to the toilet. Would like a chair in room, saves sitting on bed..

The room was big, lots of drawers for clothing, despite room above the pub it was so very quiet, comfortable bed, and clean. We enjoyed a delicious roast meal in the bar very tasty. Staff both in the evening and morning very friendly and caters to every request. Thank you. Will definitely consider and recommend staying here again.

    Nothing, we were very happy.

A genuine and quaint Old World inn, it is very quirky with lots of little snug areas and interesting architecture. Fantastic staff who made our stay so special. Lovely food from a comprehensive menu and good beers wines and spirit selection from the bar.

I could not find a hairdryer and the tv was a little small.

Beautiful quirky hotel steeped in history and an ideal location for a visit to the tank museum and local attractions. Narrow low doorways and the illusion of a rabbit warren kept you interested and thirsty for knowledge about the building. The menu boasted delicious game pie that was on the specials board, had to ask for more gravy it was so nice. lovely nights sleep and a delicious breakfast.
