Just the lack of Breakfast but it may have been due to the chef being ill.

Can't say what the breakfast was like as we had to leave to catch the ferry as the chef had not arrived at our allotted time of 7.30! Evening meal was lovely though and room was nice and comfy.

It was noisy around the back with staff members on breaks under the window and visitors shouting when getting into their cars to leave. The room was far too hot for us too so we had no choice but to have the windows open full the whole time we were there.

Friendly staff,separate entrance to rooms as the rest of the pub Very spacious room and bathroom,lovely decoration and cleanliness.

The carpet in the hallway to the rooms is desperately in need of changing following a water leak, it doesn't give the best first impression of the hotel.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and welcoming and had everything you could need including water for each guest. The location was perfect as we were using the stay as an overnight stop before getting the ferry the next morning

Although the hotel is clean the building is old and showing it.

Bed was extremely comfy. Food in the restaurant was really good and breakfast is freshly cooked and excellent. Staff are lovely.

But I should say that the corridor is in the terrible condition. It's completely doesn't correspond with the rest hotel.

We have stayed only one night before the ferry to Dublin. There were the parking and breakfast. For the breakfast you should choose from the menu and all of our dishes were very tasty. The stuff was friendly and helped us with the order the food from the chinese restaurant because of their kitchen was already closed. The beds were comfortable, and the room generally.

Bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but we were only staying one night on route to the ferry. Everything else was lovely though

It wasn’t quite as nicely presented as I was hoping but they explained that they were in the process of refurbishing.

Great shower and lovely (and I mean the best ever) local bacon for breakfast. The staff accommodated my late arrival and left the keys in a key safe.

Couldn't fault a thing, lovely comfy bed, would seriously think about a return trip.

Everything including the staff, food and cleanliness,was very handy to be close to the ferry port as I had a 9am sailing.

The rooms needed a little TLC, the blinds were broken in places and the curtains needed new hooks and rehanging. The carpet on the landing needed either a very good clean or replacing as it spoiled the overall image

The staff were very pleasant and helpful especially the landlady.. She even started breakfast early for us as we had a ferry to catch. The evening meal was good, the sirloin steak cooked to perfection and the breakfast was excellent. The beds were very comfortable

Only issue is a little morning noise from those catching the Irish ferry

I have lived in the area so my views are somewhat biased I liked the staff very much the type of people i like pleasant hardworking and always willing to please The breakfast was excellent
