no room in car park but were able to use the lane behind the hotel. area was a bit scruffy but Hotel itself was fine apart from rear entrance.

convenient for docks. clean bedroom/bathroom/dining room. amenable staff. food very good. brilliant cooked breakfast for £6. bedroom recently decorated & comfortable bed.

Walls were quite thin and sounds from the restaurant - music - quite loud but only until 9-10 pm.

The hotel rooms had very comfortable beds. Free parking was available at the back of the hotel. There was a restaurant on the gorund floor serving very nice drinks and food. We've had breakfast there as well. Toasts + jam and butter plus tea and coffee were included in the price but it was possible to order english breakfast (different sizes available). Food was good. Restaurant was busy so I would advise booking a table for dinner if you are planning to eat in.

We arrived around 12.55 am, we were given instructions how to enter at that time. We were at error putting in the booking.com postcode instead of the one which was sent to us by the hotel. We couldn't find the road behind the hotel, so make sure you use postcode emailed to you for late arrivals. Light breakfast included with room, very good.

Parking can be tricky if other users haven't been considerate of the limited spaces.

I have been staying here during the week for work. Very close to my contract. Rooms are comfortable, always clean. Food in the evening is very good, I have eaten in the restaurant most evenings. Parking has been good so far although some users don't utilise the area very well.

Due to the nature of fitting an en-suite bathroom into this type of property, the washbasin was tiny! This meant we ended up slopping water over the floor.

This was an old characterful property with high ceilings and ornate mouldings. It was clean and comfortable. We could control the radiators which blasted out heat when we wanted them to. The hotel was shut on the evening we were there which meant that it was very quiet in the evening. We got a takeaway pizza from the place about 2 doors down which was delicious. The cereal and toast breakfast which was included in the price suited us perfectly. Value for money was amazing.

Winter check-in hours meant it was closed between 14:00 and 17:00. Radiator valve didn't work in bedroom so it was a bit cold

The parking wasn’t very good as there was limited space at the rear of the hotel and if you parked at the front you had to walk around to the back of the hotel to gain access to your room

I booked a single room and it seemed slightly small.

The bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was good with the option to buy a cooked meal. I didn’t eat evening meals as I was visiting family but the menu looked great and the restaurant was very popular.

You could hear music from downstairs but this finished at 10pm. Not an issue for us but I would ask for a room on an upper floor if you have small children.

Bathroom needs to be configured better. Room 4 tiolet set awkward. We are average fit ppl but older ppl would it difficult. Shower takes time to heat. Bit noisey as on road outside is busy. Not much to do bar pub next door. Room could use cleaning as dusty in places and windows wet as they do not open.
