Continental Breakfast adequate but not exciting. Items on the specials board for bar meals not available although still showing the following day. Bit skimpy with loo roll!

Singles rooms are what could be best described as bijou. I had to remove the largest lamp shade I have ever seen on a desk so that I could see the TV from the bed.

The perfect location for our needs. Watching sport in London over the weekend. Good Breakfast and spotlessly clean

Bed was a very small double and much firmer than I prefer. It was hot! If there’s no air con then a fan would be helpful. Leaving the windows opened helped but the trash bins were emptied in the alley at 3am and woke us up. Really bad room for that. Disappointed no waters or fridge was available to keep any drinks cool.

Curtains let in alot of light from underneath once in bed..so you have to tuck them up onto the sil. Large gap under door letting in alot of light from hallway light on all night and noise from guests in the morning walking past. No breakfast included for £90 stay !? Fan in bathroom takes ages to go off.

Very nice decor. Tea, coffee facilities provided. Lovely shower Comfortable pillow, nice duvet & mattress Nice toiletries provided. Good TV size.

Narrow single bed could have been wider. Some men were noisy about 12-15 a.m. and stopped me getting to sleep for a while. I wanted to use teletext on the tv to check football results but the tv didnt seem to have teletext.

Room good. Bathroom excellent, nice shower with movable nozzle you can spray all over your body. Very nice continental breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff at reception and at breakfast. Nice big car park. I like the 11 a.m. checkout and not 10 a.m.

Just a personal preference, would have liked more than one coffee bag to have been in the room.

We stayed in mild weather in April and the radiators in the corridors were blasting out heat making the building far too hot.

We often stay at the Ethorpe, it’s comfortable, has a good restaurant with beer garden and plenty of parking. It’s also close to Gerrards Cross station and shops. The hotel was becoming very shabby but has been renovated since our last visit, a great improvement.

Day 1 breakfast was cooked but not hot and wife’s toast and egg had gone cold as the avocado must have come straight out of the fridge, the guy serving was under some pressure and having to apologise to those at breakfast Day 2 breakfast was 100% better.

When I asked about breakfast on the previous morning when it had been paid for by Dulux, I got a rude reply! I don't ever want a lot first thing. I just wanted cereal with Vegan milk or to know if there were any vegan alternatives on display I hadn't noticed. I asked a member of staff if there were any vegan alternatives and I pointed towards the continental selection. He laughed and said of course, we serve plastic! I asked him what he meant. He said, of course we have plastic food for you vegans. I asked him if he thought he was being funny as he had a big smile on his face! He said, yes, its a joke, its funny, he was still laughing at me even though I wanted to shout at him and tell him some truths about the mass hormone, chemical and the mass of antibiotics injected into the animal he eats. He continued to chuckle and smile even though I sternly told him he wasn't funny! Maybe your staff should watch 'Cowspiracy' or 'Faulks Over Knives' and get some food education!

Very small/Narrow bathroom. (Room 16) Had to turn sideways to avoid hitting shower cubicle and heated towel rail/Radiator. IMO, poor planning of room space !!

Nothing only ants sharing our bed

It was a lovely place to stay but a shame about the ants in the bathroom and then second night in the bed . We could have moved but had a stressful day as had a funeral the managers was good got rid of them
