Lovely pub in a wonderful location. Staff were very welcoming and professional, food was very good at dinner and breakfast, and rooms are well designed and comfortable. A great little find!

Didn’t bother us at all but there is no television in the room.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Quirky room , antique furniture with lots of character. Food was excellent, fresh local produce beautifully cooked. Plenty of free parking . A really great place to stay.

Had the pleasure of staying here last night, our stay was so amazing I had to write a review immediately. We booked through Booking.com after a recommendation from a friend whom we was visiting for a 40th. We arrived to check in @ 3pm & was greeted by a friendly smiley barman, whilst he sorted our room & took up our cases, we sat outside in the lovely beer garden with a cold glass of vino. Our double room was a little smalll but it had everything we needed, including a fan (it was a hot bank holiday weekend). Great facilities, thoughtful finishing touches & toiletries. Bed was extremely comfortable & had the best nights sleep. Breakfast was cooked to perfection & there was a great selection on offer. Coffee was amazing! Our waitress was ever so friendly & helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We didn’t want to leave however, we will definitely be going back for dinner when we next visit our friend. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay x

Bed was a little hard for me. Tea and coffee in a wardrobe, which was cute, but no lighting. Also no coffee pods, so had to ask and had trouble finding someone, then coffee machine didn't work properly.

Couldn't turn the heating off in our room and was very hot all night.

The location, food, staff and accommodation were wonderful we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The only complaint is that traveling alone for work, it would have been nice to have a tv in the room.

The styling was exceptional, the food was amazing & the staff where friendly and helpful. I plan on taking my partner there for a romantic weekend getaway.

No way to cover the 2 small ceiling windows meant the room was quite light early in the morning.

Friendly staff for check-in and service in the pub and at breakfast. Beautiful, quirky room with a really comfy bed. Thoughtful extras such as a glass of port and fudge in the room.

Need to re-check flooring as a couple of raised nails need bashing back down but it didn't detract from a great place.

I loved the radio and no TV. I also loved the room layout the intrinsic items, the fresh milk and the coffee machine. The copper bath transported me back 48 years to my grandma's house, although hers was in the parlour in front of the fire and was filled from an iron pot on the fire lol.

We had an amazing break at the Five Bells in. Room was awesome - great decor, comfortable bed, and lovely little extras. The pub itself was fab, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The included breakfast was also awesome.

3 of the 4 rooms had a bath and no shower option which may be impractical for some (we stayed for a wedding so was a bit of a pain when getting ready.

I didn't like my bathroom. It was too small and separated from the bedroom by only a partition; ie--- no privacy for strategic operations (when sharing obviously) I couldn't locate any bedside light that could be switched from the bedside Window needed to be cleaned and frame painted (it looked shabby) Hated the chandelier (personal taste!)

I loved the look and location; proper old fashioned looking country pub. Loved the decor. It had obviously been updated, but it was completely sympathetic with the ethos of a very old inn. There were a lot of recycled items used, brilliantly. I really loved almost all of the decoration and coziness

The five bells inn is a cosy friendly village pub, serving real ales, lovely cooked food, attentive staff. Will certainly use it as our stop over travelling too nd from france.

I cant think of anything but if I have to be picky, I'd just suggest a magnifier mirror in the bathroom as it's hard to see close up over the wide sink area.

Couldn't fault the brilliant and welcoming customer service from start to finish. Very comfortable bed and quite room, beautifully designed. A fantastic short stay for my partner's birthday together with a lovely dinner in the bar area.

The bedroom was full of character but lack of a shower was a problem as large metal bath was high sided and challenging entry and exit. No TV or telephone, the former not a problem.

The rustic nature of the building, friendly staff and country location. Service was first class and both evening meal and breakfast were excellent.
