The 10.30 am check out time. Most places have 11 or 12 now.

Check in friendly, had our drinks ready whilst we took bags to room. Evening meal good. Breakfast was relaxed and food and choice great

My only "complaint" is that the shower in the room let down the standard of everything else . Hot enough but such a weak shower !

The welcome, the bar, the restaurant ,standard of room were all excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Although the manager eventually, kindly allowed me to store my bike inside. Cyclist should be aware that the only place to store a bike is outside on their front balconies.

It had a good restaurant and bar with plenty of atmosphere. I ate on my own and felt very comfortable doing so. My room was ideal for a single traveller.

A great stay in an interesting seaside town.

The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked but not as extensive as many. They don’t offer hot chocolate as a drink option.

The Glengower is a lovely old pub that has been tasteful renovated. The only downfall for us was navigating 3 flights of steep stairs - don’t come with a large suitcase! The staff were friendly, informative and welcoming. The evening meal was exceptional. Very well presented and delicious - a step above any of the other meals we have had on this trip. Although the weather wasn’t conducive to a beach stay, the rooms overlooking the seaside and a short walk into the main town were both lovely. Although not in full swing at the moment the town certainly looks like it caters for the summer holiday crowd and I imagine it would get very crowded in summer. Staying at the Glengower, which is a 5-10 minute walk out of the centre, would be a great choice in the busy months for that reason. There is a lot of interesting history associated in and near the town and worth checking out. We would certainly stay there again (but maybe ask for a room on the first floor to avoid a few trips up the stairs!)

Room very clean and comfortable. Every member of staff we came across were both welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Special mention must go to Emily who welcomed us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast was well organised and lovely selection to choose from. Nice to have a very tasty breakfast cooked to order. All in all a very pleasant stay and will stay again when visiting the area.

    Nothing at all

The breakfast every morning was excellent. Lots of variety and the staff in the restaurant were very good, always smiling which makes a great difference. Also we ate in the restaurant inthe evening. The food was very very good and the presentation was brilliant. The staff in the bar were very knowledgeable and very helpful too. The room was large and comfortable and the view over Cardigan Bay was amazing. Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins. All in all a very relaxing break and we would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone

Noise level in the pub was a little loud. It's a listed (historic) building, so no lift/elevator

Room with bay view. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and incredibly cute. Full breakfast included with price and very tasty! Terrific on-site pub with a great selection of cask ales and beers, good wine selection and a fantastic selection of whiskey/whisky (you must try one of their selection of Penderyn). Food is very good. Great staff and service. A charming lovely hotel!

No lift - but you can’t have everything! Road system in Aberystwyth close to the front is a bit weird.

Immaculately clean, tidy, cared for, and right on the sea front. Good breakfast. Great staff and good ambiance in the bar. If I’m visiting again, I would rebook.
