My only criticism would be that the bathroom was a little bit cold. A heated towel rail would solve the problem and also mean that towels could be dried rather than remaining damp between showers

For solo traveller not Great value for money Felt some of the decor like the carpets for a bit tired. Signage could be improved especially in car park at night ! I was in one of the under eave rooms and I kept hitting my head on the lower Eaves - fed this beck

Rooms a little tired but we could live with that but tv not working (aerial had pulled out which caused us to to see behind tv which was filthy. Bathroom sink waste not operating correctly as handle to pull up was missing and hot water in bath was difficult to turn to very hot then back to warm (the button to press was an issue) The second room, hot water tap in vanity sink impossible to turn on

I rang prior to our stay as being disabled needed a ground floor room which they said would be available with walk in shower. On arrival were told us our room was upstairs and as they didnt have a lift was unacceptable. Receptionist swapped our room saying there was no record on the booking about my request, no apology and didnt seem to care about there error. Ended up with a room with shower over bath and 3 steps down to get to room. Very awkward for me to navigate. Room and bathroom needed serious tlc but was fairly clean. Bed was very hard like sleeping on boxes.

Went here and stayed 2 nights for a wedding. The hotel did a good job catering to, staff wete very efficient and friendly on the day and food was lovely.

The room was awkward to get to as we have accessibility issues. These were not communicated in advance, which is our error, but there was no attempt to understand whether the room offered was suitable for us. The room was located in the eaves of the original building, the sloped ceiling was a challenge for us. The room was not particularly clean, with spiders webs dust visible within the secondary glazing frames. Hot water took a long time to come through when requested.

The food offering was enjoyable and well received. Dinner on the Saturday night was lovely, food fresh and well presented, breakfast was good on the Sunday, but would have been nice to know that the service style would change for the Monday.

There were minor things, the pluses far outweighed them, given the price I've no complaint whatsoever.

What I paid was the top end of my budget - but the lowest end of what was available in the area... wow was I happy with the value for money! Spacious, colour-coordinated, softly lit, super comfy room, looking out on a scenic garden courtyard. On heading out for an early morning run, the gentleman on reception directed me on an excellent route around Steeple Aston, which offered sightings of wildlife and thatched cottages.

Nothing, we had a great time.

The building itself, the staff were super friendly ( the two ladies at the reception were beautiful, polite and very friendly) the rooms were nice, the heating was great and the breakfast had a good variety so overall was great since we just booked it last minute and we didn’t think much of it as we just needed somewhere for the night.

Car park very dark at night! Room was cold Restaurant was fully booked for evening meal we were advised to book before we arrived for food but other options were suggested to drive to! TV to far away from the bed needs bigger one. Bathroom very dated in need of some upgrading toilet discoloured!

Bed was very hard and a thin duvet was stiff as were the pillows and I was cold but no extra covers or blanket in the room.

The valuated ceiling. The small bed. Finally the TV was small for the size of the room.

To start with, Big carpark easy to find space. If you have a big van you will have no problem parking your vehicle. The receptionist was very efficient in finding our reservation and giving us the room key. Although the room was a good size it was spoilt by the low vaulted ceiling. The bed was comfortable but small. The bathroom was very clean bright and spacious. Both bed room and bathroom seemed to have recently been modernised and decorated.

There needs to be more hooks/towel rails in the rooms to hang wet towels. Maybe some herbal teabags/hot chocolate sachets for non-coffee and tea lovers. There was quite a poor vegetarian selection on the restaurant menu.

The price was fantastic, the staff were friendly and the room was very cozy.
