The pillows were a bit high and the bed was crooked due to the age of the property but all part of the charm.

Quirky, clean and comfortable. It is a period property with great characteristics. The beds were really comfortable. An excellent breakfast menu and well priced.

The hotel is situated very closely to the train station, very busy and loud.

Ideal location for those going to see the Harry Potter studios, a four minute drive. The pub downstairs had a lovely atmosphere, great food and very helpful staff.

Some of the decor was a little 'frayed around the edges' but it didn't take away anything from the venue, it's a very old building and part of its charm.

Cosy little venue, the staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, very large portions and great value for the price. Location was perfect for our trip to Harry Potter Studio Tour.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows, although large, were harder than I would have liked. I was disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9am , a time I thought was unusually late.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and dinner in the restaurant was very good. Even though the room was on top of the bar, I heard no noise whatsoever and found the room to be very quiet.

It took me a while to figure out how to use the shower but once I got the hang of it it was fab.

The bed was comfortable, room was warm and airy. Very clean, the en suite was clean and shower was warm and powerful. The location was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The stairs to get up to the room are narrow so you have to be careful Was a little bit loud from people downstairs as it's above a pub but had no issue getting to sleep everything was quiet by then. I do wear ear plugs but my partner doesn't and both of us slept well.

Old timey vibes, cute room, there were books and games outside for use, comfy beds, options of firmer or softer pillows, comes with a cute lil tea/coffee set (but we couldn't find the kettle if there was one 😂) also has on site parking. It's less than a 10 min drive to the warner bros studio.

I think more hotels needs to upgrade their TV. We couldn't really watch what we wanted so we used our laptop.

I liked the ambiance and the atmosphere of the hotel, staff was very helpful and lovely. Room was very warm and nice. For our needs this hotel and the room were perfect. Very close to the Warner Bros Studio Tour!

For me the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but i suffer from osteoarthritis, I have a none standard mattress at home because of my condition , we stayed for one night so not too bad.

Friendly staff good food very reasonable prices, would recommend if visiting harry potter studio.

The adjacent trainline can certainly be noisy as previous reviews indicate. However, as the bedroom has secondary double glazing, we left the windows closed and we slept fine!

A delightful, traditional old hotel, just as we'd expected. All the staff were very helpful. We arrived at 8am from an overnight flight, purchased an excellent breakfast, and asked if we could check in as soon as our room was ready. We were delighted they were able to arrange the early check in for us. We had delicious evening meal and there was a good choice of wines and beers,

Bathroom was a little tired. Location above a bar/restaurant meant it was quite noisy until closing time and couldn’t sleep. Location right next to train track also made it noisy and disturbed sleep. Still, room and beds were comfortable and managed to sleep from midnight onwards.

Well located, period features, great food and drink. Nice comfy beds. Welcoming staff. Brilliant distance to Harry Potter Studio Tour!! Great value!

The decor in Clarendon needs to be updated a little bit. No curtain or blind on bathroom window and the bathroom door did not lock. Fixtures looked tired with wires hanging down the wall.

Clean and friendly, with exceptionally friendly staff, who gave a warm welcome. The food was 10 out of 10 and great value for money.
