If I’m being fussy the ceiling and walls could do with redecorating. Wifi was via The Cloud which is unsuitable for children’s iPads.

Nice location with lovely beer garden out front. Family friendly hotel and restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay over following a day at Paultons Park. Just a 15 minute drive away, we found the White Rabbit which more than served its purpose for the night. The staff were excellent and very welcoming during our stay. Bedroom was very clean and tidy, exceeding expectations. We also had dinner in the evening, which had decent potion sizes and tasted great. The experience was topped off when this staff unexpectedly brought my daughter's pudding out with a candle in for her birthday! Thankyou Bunny & Holly

Wi-Fi kept changing between lounge and cloud

The hotel is ideally situated in Lyndhurst a very short distance by car to the New Forrest and 10 miles away from Southampton will be booking again

The hotel needs a little updating and a lick of paint. Closing time and total shutdown of facilities at 10 pm far too early for holiday makers.

toilet seat was loose, plug in sink did not work , complained several times , nothing got done, could do with a lick of paint everwhere . a sign requesting other guests to be conscious of guests when going to bed and not talking to loud and banging doors would be good at bottom of stairs.

Water in shower went from hot to cold and vice versa at times. Some confusion about rules re dogs- where you could sit at breakfast, how much supplement would be added to bill for having a dog, confusion over whether dog had been paid for in price. Lot of steps (up and down a la Fawlty Towers) to get to room.

Large room, at back of hotel away from road and hence quiet, partial view of New Forest from window. Room warm. Staff helpful , carrying cases etc. car parking good

if in room near road you get a little noise from traffic due to single glazing but we still slept well

staff very friendly and helpful, especially Bunny and Muriel. rooms serviced well. shower powerful and beds comfortable. daughter loved sofa bed and also separate bath for end of day soak. central location in new forest and easy to get around, short walk to shops and high street

It isn’t going to be the Ritz for such a bargain price. Could do with some new carpets to modernise.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Good location, loads of free parking, big family room at cheap price. Good selection of food and drink at good prices. Kids loved the pool table and breakfast.

Bathroom in room 5 was always really colg despite having a heated towel rail. The small window was slightly out of line but we couldn't open it. Mentioned to manager on checkout. to be fixed.

the bed wasn’t the comfiest, slightly small as well. the bar closed earlier at 9:30pm when was supposed to close at 10pm
