Although small the property has all that you need. If you don’t fancy the climb up to the bed there is a sofa bed you can use instead. It is set at the back of the hosts home, and feels private and quite.

Not really criticisms just user-guides: The shower is quite complicated to work out, especially when it's steamy and you haven't got your glasses on. The loft space has no window shades, so if you are not an early riser choose the sofa bed. However, the early summer dawn chorus was very special.

Can’t fault anything! The shower was slightly temperamental but once the temperature settled was completely fine and really wasn’t an issue because everything else was so fantastic

Internet was very slow, but not a huge problem for us, only when trying to watch Netflix etc in the evenings. But otherwise we loved it!

Great base for exploring the New Forest; a wonderful little property in a beautiful setting. Melissa was so responsive and helpful, really keen for us to make the most of our stay.

I would say the only thing we struggled with time to time was service, but that can’t be helped much. But this didn’t affect our stay!

The Nest caught our eye by how cosy it was, everything was in the perfect place from the sofa to watching the TV, the kitchen is adorable and has everything you need for just a few days. We had the perfect Christmas at the Nest.

Parking was tight. The property looked smaller in person than on the pictures. The ladder to the upstairs felt dangerous. The roof when sleeping upstairs was very close

The amenities were great, everything was functional, and the kitchen worked surprisingly well for cooking given the small amount of space. It’s relaxing and comfortable with a gorgeous interior and the top bed with the skylights is so sweet, we loved looking at the stars at night. It’s a fantastic area and is less than a half hour drive to everywhere we wanted to visit. It was perfect us as we wanted to experience as much of the new forest as possible. The host, Melissa was charming and welcoming, gave lots of advice of where to visit and was a pleasure to book with. Thank you so much, we will be coming back. X

It was a perfect little idyll within walking distance of the New Forest and its charm. 10-15 minutes to wonderful beaches, yet with a variety of shops to hand. Melissa and the family were so accommodating and had provided some lovely little touches for our week away. And then there's the view from the roof!!!

The Nest is located in a delightful area - very quiet in the heart of the New Forest. It was scrupulously clean and well equipped. Our hostess had obviously spent a lot of time designing the accommodation ensuring that her guests had the very best possible experience.

The location was perfect, in a lovely section of the New Forest. The host was very warm and welcoming. The Nest is a very well designed, comfortable and romantic spot. I would 100% recommend to anyone, travelling solo or as a couple.

The location and accommodation were beautiful - I did arrive a bit late (which they very kindly accommodated, be aware Google Maps might lead you astray slightly!). Will definitely come back - but next time more time to play with doggos!

Wished we could have stayed for longer!

We wanted somewhere quiet & relaxing to stay; to enjoy each other’s company & not have to think about the 9-5. The Nest provided just that, it’s located perfectly to explore the New Forest. Melissa’s such a gracious host & very welcoming. We enjoyed the bubbles & chocolate too ☺️ The Nest was lovely & clean, everything there is well thought out & to a high quality. Loved stargazing in bed from the mezzanine.
