It was very welcoming and cared-for with everything we needed for a short weekend stay. We enjoyed the quiet location, clean room and friendly host.

The hosts was exceptionally warm, welcoming, communicative, respectful and really nice and warmed me where not to park outside territorial neighbours and provided me ample parking in front of the Nook.

We liked everything it was like home from home. Such a pretty comfortable property. The hosts were really welcoming and helpful.. The sweet jar was a lovely surprise.

We didn't figure out the hack with the Bed, we could've moved it closer to the wall so the one sleeping towards the wall had no fear of the space between the wall and the Bed. Sadly we only figured it out on the last day. It's our mistake honestly.

STAY WAS EXCEPTIONAL. The host was super friendly. They left a message for me and the guest which instantly made us feel at home. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the amenities they had provided. Best thing was the handmade guide containing places to eat, visit. I can tell the host have put in a lot of effort in making the place feel like home. I've been in few apartments/studios before but I must admit... This place was something else (In a good way obviously)!! I will be definitely visiting again! Loved every bit of our Barnstaple stay ❤️ Thanks a lot for everything :) ❤️

There were so many little touches like eye masks, sweet jars and biscuits for cups of tea which just made you feel at home as soon as you got there.

Nicky was such a warm, welcoming and lovely host!! The Nook was so lovely; the facilities were amazing, a little home away from home. I slept wonderfully and loved the selection of DVD’s!! It’s so quiet in the night which was beautiful and it was the little things like the tea, biscuits and sleeping mask. I would definitely stay again!!

Very helpful hosts. Cosy studio space with pretty much everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and nice shower room. Nice big TV, though you have to watch it from the bed as there's no space for a sofa. The Nook has no views to speak of but for me it was a very useful base for coastal walks and it would be good for cyclists using the Tarka Trail. Close to buses heading to Barnstaple, Bideford, Appledore and beyond.

The Nook was a fantastic little find. It was everything that you could need and more. Beautiful room with charming touches. Our host was lovely even leaving us a little sweet treat to enjoy. Highly recommended.

I'm not great at reversing!! But that's being ultra critical as its a wonderful place to stay.

Could do with somewhere to hang clothes up

Perfect size for a short break and had all the facilities you could possibly need. Nicky was a lovely and very helpful host, will definitely book again next time I’m in the area.
