When I booked I understood this was a pub with rooms above. We booked this to enable us to enjoy the bar and meal facilities. However before our stay we were advised that it had changed to a guest house. While the facilities were good there was no bar or food available despite menus being in our room and displayed out side the property. We ate elsewhere.

Some of the decor seemed a bit rushed, and the finish wasn't quite right, which is a shame because the style and decor choices were great. The layout of the bathroom in the Cherub room is really odd, and there is a lot of wasted space. Would have been lovely with a bath in the eaves. Room door lock wasn't very substantial, but the whole place felt very secure and safe.

Love the style and feel of the place. So welcoming. Beautiful setting. Staff were super, efficient and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and all cooked to order, really appreciated the good coffee. Parking arrangements with the local pub are really convenient and simple.

Lack of consistency in heating the room

Location. Quintessential Old English room. Good hearty breakfast. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Restaurants, Tearooms and shops were all within walking distance, along the High Street.

If I returned, I would request a different room. We stayed on the second floor which was the converted attic and it was extremely noisy underfoot. I love having a window wherever I stay and unfortunately with the Lilac room, the window was really difficult to see out of, as it was a dormer window. Unless I stood on the bed, I couldn’t get a view out unless I really stretched. It felt a little too snug of a room for me. A simple suggestion I’d also like to make is to consider putting a mirror in the bedroom. There were two mirrors in the bathroom but I would’ve liked to get ready (makeup) while my husband showered, so I needed to wait for him.

The location was absolutely perfect for a visit to Haworth and surrounding areas. We drove 20 minutes away to the beautiful market town of Hebden Bridge. The price was good value for money. The breakfast was served by a very friendly staff member and she was accommodating to my food requests, as I made a couple of little additions. The bed was comfortable and was fine for one night.

The decor and furnishings and age of the building we liked. Very comfortable bed. Lovely friendly people who ran it and worked there. Wonderful choice of breakfast which were very tasty.

Nothing to dislike, thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we originally thought the road noise from the high street adjacent, where our room overlooked the park and views across the valley might be noisy, but we needn’t have worried, the property was very quiet.

In the heart of Haworth at the bottom of the main cobbled street with easy access to shops and a variety of places to eat and drink. The Staff were pleasant and attentive, even if overly busy with there being a private function taking place as we arrived! Breakfast service was much the same with the young hostess proving service with a welcoming smile, where nothing was too much trouble.

Wouldn’t stay here if I had mobility issues. Parking the car cost extra in a car park belonging to a nearby pub.

The building quirky. Bed comfortable. Room a little cramped okay for a couple of nights. Wonderful deep bath, with lots hot water. For Breakfast there was a good selection. Staff had time to chat.
