Really lovely old pub. The rooms are in the barn just next door & our room was a really good size with everything you would need. The food was delicious, we had dinner and breakfast.

This was a great location and place to stay close by to where we were working. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. We had a delicious supper in the pub choosing from a really nice menu and a cheeky bottle of wine from the wine list!

Breakfast felt a little limited but was good value for money. The rooms can be a little noisy in terms of hearing other guests but nothing horrendous.

Bathroom floor can get a bit too wet when you shower, so I had to use one of my towels

Room was quite dark, cafetiere was dirty and needed replacing, teapot cracked so leaked everywhere. Sign in room suggests fresh milk available throughout your stay but if the bar is shut there is only a phone number for emergencies. Bedsheets very stiff and noisy.

Room tidy and modern, located in a quaint and quiet village, nice to have fresh coffee grounds in the room. Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere in the bar, waiting staff exceptional.

This is a fantastic place to stay just off the A303. The room was great size, bed was comfortable and good tea and coffee in the room. Food in the pub was delicious and they were really great with our dog.

There was only a handheld shower attachment over the bath. Would have been nice to have a shower cubicle.

The staff were very friendly , efficient and helpful The dinner was excellent- original menu choices and perfectly presented. Good value too !

Only minor.. WiFi wasn’t great in the room and the dining room lighting was quite bright. Pub didn’t open until 6 which was fine for us but good to know if you’re planning on getting there earlier and wanting to go to the bar.

Lovely pub in the middle of nowhere with good rooms and great restaurant. Rooms were beautifully furnished.. in a separate barn to the pub. Lovely toiletries and biscuits in the room. Food was really good..sat by the fire beforehand with a glass of vino. Plenty of parking. Breakfast next day was good. Would definitely go back.

There was only a bath in the room with a hand held shower. This needs attaching to the wall. Door handle to room was loose.

Lovely old pub in a lovely part of the country. A warm welcome, good food and service, and comfortable spacious modern rooms in separate quiet part of building. Everything was already thought of before you asked. Just wonderful.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean - modern but in keeping with the age of the property. The Pub is very old and full of character with a lovely fire going in the restaurant area. The food and menu were excellent - with a good mix of menu options.

Only thing I would have liked is somewhere to put suitcase rather than floor. Minor thing but back not great.

Absolutely brilliant Pub with gorgeous rooms. Bed really comfortable, great facilities like a cafetiere not instant and a bottle of milk supplied. Very peaceful and great food. Had no expectations so was very pleasantly surprised and happy. Lovely welcome from staff and fully informed me of extra facilities that were available on request like and iron and ironing board.

Nothing we didn't like! Rooms were spotless and difficult to find any fault at all.

We had a wonderful stay. Friendly, very clean, excellent food, great breakfat and service so frienddly. We loved our short stay and will be back early next year.
