Is a great place to stay if going to alton towers as only minutes away. House is lovely and fully stocked. Restaurant next door was great and didnt have to go far. Never noisy so your not disturbed even when sitting outside. Kids loved it and had plenty space to play in house

The only thing we encountered was a small issue where a member of the party cut themselves by accident which prompted using the first aid bag and there was a used dirty plaster inside which they had to touch, which wasnt too pleasant, but a very minor inconvenience as the first aid bag obviously isn't used too much so we just got rid of it.

The host Sarah was lovely and friendly and kept us updated via text. The lodge itself was just beautiful, clean and spacious. We had an amazing weekend for my birthday and a lovely dinner cooked in the kitchen. The beds were big and comfy and the Bluetooth speakers and gorgeous long table made the stay so much fun for our small friendship group. Would absolutely recommend as we also went to Alton towers which was literally just up the road in the car !

Heating was controlled by the host so we needed to message them to turn it up, although they were very quick to respond.

The accommodation was perfect for what we were looking for. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. I'm not sure when it was refurbed but it felt very recently and was done very very well. Very modern fit out, especially the kitchen but still in keeping with the charm.

Everything was amazing. This is so much more than your average place to stay, the facilities are second to none. So comfortable and homely, well kept and to a very high standard at that. The log burner was built up for us on arrival and the bedrooms are huge and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own en suite with shower and another toilet/shower room downstairs is a real bonus. The kitchen is amazing and really well equipped along with another utility room including washer and dryer. The underfloor heating downstairs is great and the 3 smart TVs are a real bonus too. I can't believe what was included considering the price we paid. To say there were 4 of us staying at £55 each per night we had a real bargain, it really was an unbelievable find. I'm so impressed and so are my wife and friends who stayed with us. We will definitely check this place first for our next alton towers trip.

Absolutely loved everything about this cottage. It's a real home from home with every need anticipated. Spacious but cosy, huge bedrooms with comfy beds and modern kitchen with all mod cons. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Location is absolutely fabulous for Alton Towers too. And communication from host was first class.

A beautifully decorated cottage which is spacious and comfortable. The Stables has everything you could need including a fully equipped kitchen, with large fridge and freezer. Also a utility room with washer, tumble dryer and additional downstairs bathroom. Everywhere was spotless and the host had left plenty of supplies, everything that we needed. Upstairs were two bedrooms, with very comfortable beds and both rooms were en- suit, with lots of towels. Outside was parking for up to three cars and a lovely outdoor seating area. We stayed here to go to Alton towers which was just down the road. Finally the host went above and beyond when we accidentally left two items at the lodge, she very kindly found them and sent them back to us, We absolutely loved staying here and will be back.

Everything was perfect. The size of the cottage exceeded my expectations. It has everything you need to have a more than pleasant stay. It was also with good taste and quantity decorated.
