Everything…………..it is just so beautiful, the master bedroom takes your breath away, plus all the small touches throughout the property that you notice during your stay.

Parking proved tricky for some (!!) but is fine if careful.

It is quirky but has everything you need. The little extras made the weekend an absolute delight. Animal ornaments in and around the house and garden excited me, can only imagine how it would be for little ones. Sitting areas EVERYWHERE, with gorgeous views. Garden room, bedroom seating area, pond, slippery slope, there was so much to see and enjoy. Walking distance to restaurant and bar & 10 minutes to grocers for essentials. Perfect place to stay, wish it was for a week.

Tiny little village with little in the way of amenities however nearby villages offered what we needed. Just meant you had to drive.

Very unique & charming cottage. Loved the decor and all the thoughtful little touches. All in all really well equipped. Had fun with Alexa commands. Very comfortable.

The Smart tech was thrown out by a power cut, which led to a couple of lights out experiences in the middle of the evening!

A comfortable and unique house on the edge of the Lakes. Great and friendly service and communication from Peter and Zoe.

There is a little mouse that’s living there. Scared us both in the middle of the night because we heard rustling. When we worked out what it was and saw it, we could get back to sleep alright.

It was all so lovely. Everything was soo beautiful. The folder with all the information was soo handy and useful. Perfect relaxation place.

Everything was brilliant!

The Tree House was much more than we expected. The little details throughout the house made it so special. The layout and organisation was just wonderful! It was cosy and made our trip so memorable!

It's near the sea, which is a plus, but it's a long drive to any of the major lakes. I wish I could take this house and move it somewhere else. The sofa bed was also uncomfortable, though the other beds were great. So with a more comfortable sofa bed it would have been perfect.

The house is beautiful and the attention to detail is stunning. We all noticed different little details each day because of how much thought they've put into decorating the place. We made our own pizzas using the pizza oven, which was nice. The garden is also quite big and overlooks a field with cows and sheep. There are plenty of spaces for everyone to have some privacy, either in the conservatory, the little shed room, or the hammick in the garden.

No complaints at all about the house it was perfect. The village was pretty but not alot there but can drive not far to get to other areas.

House is beautiful very stylish and homely. We arrived to a warm house and everything there we should needed. We loved using Alexa for the heating lights and music. There was an information booklet and lots of books on the lakes which were very helpful. We visited St Bees, Whitehaven and Wast Water lake our favourite was the lake was absolutely stunning and the drive there so picturesque. Communication with the owners was prompt and good very friendly. The garden had different areas to it which our dog loved exploring and sniffing.

We spent New Year as a family at the Tree House and absolutely loved it. It is a rare find that we would definitely recommend. So many little touches that added to the experience. The main bedroom is amazing! The tree house is warm, cosy, romantic and everything you need is there. 10/10!

Not much, the coffee machine took some figuring out but got there in the end and that was more us than the machine!!

Super clean and comfy place. Loads of technology and had some fun with Alexa. WiFi excellent which is needed as no phone signal around there. Good friendly pubs for a drink and food and a pool table!!

Very minimal and picky - the sugar packets were a bit hard and maybe past due date, I'm not sure. Me and my now husband asked if anything special could be added as we went for our minimoon (we would of course cover any cost). We were advised there would be but unfortunately nothing was there when we arrived. There's no longer a gift shop in Gosforth, this was advised in the welcome folder, so it just needs to be updated. Again, nothing that spoilt our stay!

The warm, rustic, instant cosy feeling when entering and staying in the house. The smart Alexa device is fun and really provides the mood for the evening with dimmed lights. Never used a log fire so it was a bit scary but loved it all the same. The village is friendly with a great country walk around the corner, other local villages nearby including the coast.
