The area isn't the best but hey, thats out of the owners hands!

The house is very well presented from the outside and clean and tidy inside. It's a little janky and quirky, a few features certainly gave us a good laugh. But the politeness of the owner and cleaner - who sorted a little issue out for us very quickly, was lovely! It would be good if one or two of the rooms were twin beds rather than double and a few things need repair but we were aware before getting there and they didn't affect our stay. Overall a really nice house for the money, good transport to the city and we all enjoyed our stay! Thankyou!

By foot it is still a bit far to walk towards the city centre, didn't quite get that out of the explanation of booking.com.

The pictures on booking.com were perfectly accurate. Getting in contact with the house-owner went well.

Had cream carpets and had no shoes allowed in house. But would have liked to be informed before going as walking in and out the garden with no shoes was a pain a wet feet on the kitchen floor was a bit slippery.

Really good place, beds were amazing and place was lovely. This is a good place to stay for week or weekend. Dont go expecting perfection as it just needs a few things sorting, if you look closely it just needs a little bit of TLC . But would still recommend if they gave it a little bit of work would be 5 star .

Quite frankly, this was one of the dirtiest houses we've ever had the misfortune of staying in. Stains on the carpet from the moment you walk in the front door. The kitchen was quite frankly disgusting. Our feet stuck to the floor, and our hands stuck to the greasy, sticky surfaces of the toaster and microwave. The cooker was so dirty that it smoked out the kitchen. There was a random selection of mismatched crockery. A couple of small glasses, a medium glass and a few old mugs. The cupboards were so sticky that you couldn't use them. Black, dirty cobwebs were all over the ceiling, and the window ledge was full of grime. The tumble dryer door was smashed. This house has 4 double bedrooms to sleep 8 people, but only 4 chairs at the table. We found a broken office chair in the 'gym' that we used so we could all eat together. The garden was overgrown, with a broken table and some knocked over chairs. Upstairs, there were exposed wires, and broken suitcase containing electrical cables. The extractor fan in one of the bathrooms had no cover on it, and was inches thick in dust. There were light fittings with no covers or bulbs, and the blinds had slats missing. Again, windows were full of dirt, cobwebs and grime. The slight positive note was the clean linen. The bathrooms were mainly clean, but with dirty old soap and old shampoo bottles. The owner was contacted with photographic evidence of all of the above. She agreed that "the points raised were valid" and offered us a pathetic £30 refund for our 2 nights stay. This house has great potential, but is sadly not currently fit for purpose.

The house could do with a really good clean. Some parts of the house, like some of the doors, were filthy. The carpet looked like it needed a good clean as well. The bin under the sink was still full of the previous guests recycling. There wasn’t enough cutlery, glasses, bowls etc for the 8 guests that were staying.

It has everything we needed and more. 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 toilets, cosy and comfy lounge area and huge kitchen. Towels were supplied as were things like toilet roll and washing up liquid. The drive as two spaces. Only 3 miles away from B-road Street and Arcadian. The host Maria communicated really back to any questions we had.

Had 4 of my employees stay there for 4 nights, after the 1st night had them on the phone asking for me to try to book them in for the week after, saying they had never stayed in a nice place.

Fantastic Location, rooms were clean and tidy, nice to have a steam room after a long days work. Would definitely stay again.

The cleaning was at a very poor standard, upon arrival there was dust and stains on the bedding in all rooms, we had to clean the house again. The sofas need to be cleaned because when we sat on the sofas and the beds before cleaning them ourselves we all broke out in spots and got bitten multiple times. The heating was not working throughout the trip and the beds in room 2 and 4 were poor quality as they had no base which meant you sink to one side in when laying down. Minor repairs needs to be carried out as many things were not working in this property, overall we would stay again if the above were addressed however the main concern was the poor standard of cleanliness.

The property was based in a really good location from station and shopping mall. The property was spacious and had many facilities to use. The hostess was very helpful as the heating was not working throughout the trip and she came to give electric heaters to us. We stayed an extra night and upon check in she allowed us to check in earlier.
