There was nothing in particular that we did not like with this hotel, which proved to be very good value for the money.

We liked the old world charm of the hotel, the staff, the food and the location. The proximity to Windsor Great Park was very convenient for walks. The large sized room was also very much appreciated.

A lot of noise from other guest, both late at night and early in the morning. The room was a bit tired.

The pub downstairs was pleasant in the evening and the food was quite good, including the breakfast.

The bathroom was poor. The toilet flush was poor and couldn't remove what it should have causing me anguish. The shower was a fixed head in a small area and didn't allow for me to shower without getting my hair wet. I left early in the morning to catch a train and passed my key to a member of the team, no pleasantries at all from that person.

Late afternoon, early evening meal was good and prices as expected. The food good. Service could have been a little more attentive but it was ok. The team were pleasant. My room was fine, tea & coffee facilities good.

Food was not brilliant. We had dinner in the dining room, mine was mostly just about warm with tiny pieces of soggy and cold cauliflower in my Beyond burger. Can't remember what Husband had but he wasn't impressed. We did not complain though as the staff were rushed off their feet and doing their best to look after everyone. We didn't have breakfast, had a rare lay in instead. Husband was offered free desert or a glass of wine and the staff singing Happy Birthday. He just had the wine!

Fantastic staff, really helpful, friendly and polite. The bar was lovely, well decorated, quiet and cosy. Large room with a massive bed, great shower. Very quiet, despite our room over looking a main road with traffic lights. Free parking if you stay.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely dated, albeit quite large. The showers were very old and even I, as a 6ft large chap, struggled to turn the knob of the shower. The rooms really do need some money spending on them. That said the beds were comfortable.

The rooms were very stuffy with windows that didn't open very much. Being on a main road the traffic noise was very loud with the windows open.

The hotel was in a lovely location for a walk around Virginia Water and Windsor Great Park. The restaurant on site was wholesome and reasonably price.

wasn't good that windows in room didn't open for airing, but air con was effective. thought restaurant food was expensive could do with some updating

nice there was free parking for guests, nicely located by Virginia Water, comfy bed, good breakfast
