Fab location and staff were lovely!

Didn't read anywhere that the restaurant was closed. Not great for late check-in. Don't think I'd have chosen this hotel knowing that to be the case. Heating Radiators didnt work and constantly gurgle (air locked) but thankfully an electric heater in the room which helped dry some damp clothes from the previous day rain shower we were caught in.

The hotel is small but very cosy. The room was a little small but the bed very comfy. The service was excellent. I would love to come back.

The parking was a bit crowded and there was a temporary issue with lighting outside. To be honest, we loved the place.

The rooms were very well appointed with all the little extras to enhance your stay. There was a nice selection of single malt for a nightcap when returning from dinner. The breakfast was fantastic.

Just a few small things - location is a little remote but worked for us as we had a car and allowed us a quick entry and exit from skye, the bathtub May be difficult for elderly guests to use, would have liked charging points in room for international travelers.

Very cute and clean place. We liked that while they only served breakfast, they had on offer a cheese board option in case you got hungry at night! The room provided slippers which was a nice addition compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. Rooms were small but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was excellent!

Wow an absolutely stunning location , the whole house and sister hotel are fabulous so we’ll set up to pamper you .. The staff were also amazing..so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble

The staff were absolutely incredible and the most lovely people. The amenities were very impressive. We were asked for request before arrival for food preferences which we received, and I requested a room with a bath if possible which we were very grateful for. the complimentary taxi to and from a neighbouring restaurant was above and beyond what we expected and definitely enhanced the experience of being thoroughly well looked after. local gins and whiskeys available in the bar downstairs was a very nice touch. all in all, we’d definitely come back for a stay again :)

We were disappointed that on the night we arrived that the hotel only offered us cold dinner items. No chef was present that evening. For what we paid for the room, we felt that was poor service, so we went elsewhere for dinner.

nothing really. I can imagine some folks complaint the the bathroom was tiny (but up to date) and there was no lift to the 1st floor but it really was of no consequence to us.

it is very attractive inside and out in a peaceful beautiful setting. rooms were up to date with extra electrical outlets and ports. Clean and peaceful. we were graciously greeted and really felt wanted by the personnel. they helped us with directions and planning our daily travels. the food was good.

Great vibe inside, this hotel definitely has a nice ambience and is truly Scottish. Good location if visiting north coast of Scotland. Veeery spacious and comfortable room.

The location was great in terms of closeness to a beautiful view and for dinner we decided to book into the hotel. This was a sister hotel down the road which the hotel had a driver pick us up and take us and when we were ready to return he drove us back! Such a great service to offer! We were on our honeymoon and on arrival they congratulationed us on our marriage and she was so attentive to us. We felt very special and looked after. The customer service continued to be brilliant when the taxi was slightly delayed the lady gave us a glass of fizz on her while we waited. She was very professional, warm and friendly. The hotels facilities were good and well maintained with beautiful views from all the bedroom and bathroom windows. The shower in the room was new and water pressure was great, which is always a surprise in old buildings. The rooms view was beautiful and the bed was very comfy and large. We enjoyed making use of the bar area for a drink before heading out for a meal in the sister hotel. The staff were all very accomodating and professional,also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was table service and the team were very helpful and friendly. It was good quality food and they had a good secretion of gluten free options too. Great way to start the day. The car park is on site which is very useful. Dinner at the sister Hotel Duisdale Hotel was amazing! The teams professionalism and level of customer service was so high and we felt very happy and looked after. Special mention to Robert who created 2 giant cocktails for us which were not on the menu and kept coming back to.make sure we were okay. The meal was delicious and they were very accommodating with the gluten free dietary requirement my husband required. We felt very relaxed and at ease there. We were the last ones In restaurant and loved every second of it. Robert even made is a to go cocktail which was very kind!

The sauce hollandaise on the egg royal was not to my perfect liking but I had to think a bit to find something not 100% positive

Excellent hosts! Very personal service, good recommendations on what to do in the region and very knowledgeable. Great selection of local whiskeys and gin with plenty of background information. The interior design is of high quality and not overloaded, well looked after with a sense for pleasant details.
