No toilet/shower in the room, shared facilities on the same floor. No parking at property, but available at sister property a few hundred yards away.

Good check-in, friendly staff. Quiet room despite being over a pub on a Friday night. Fabulous selection of real ales in the well run bar that has won many awards.

We were above the toilet so all we heard was the toilet flush and the hand dryers going and was in bed by 9 was not feeling very well so it was so annoying

Shared bathroom meant plodding along the corridor in the early hours!

Basic accommodation with shared bathroom facilities down the hall, a fact I hadn't spotted when booking the property. Overall, easy to access, you can park in the street across the road or in the car park of their sister pub. Room was clean and had the usual facilities. Pub downstairs was excellent. Food available at takeaways close by or there's a Wetherspoons and a couple of restaurants down the road.

Showers only fit the skinniest of people in, and floors can be slippery.

This is not my first time here, so that says a lot. This is not the Ritz. It's a very friendly, welcoming little place to stay that's exactly near to where we need to be. Room is at best functional. But as I'm asleep I don't mind - the bar area downstairs has a great selection of beers. The chap running it is a legend pure and simple.

I'm a skinny chap, and wouldn't have wanted to have been any wider to fit in the showers. But really, for the money, did what we needed.

The room itself was cheap and basic, but given I was going to be asleep for about six hours, that's pretty much filled our requirements. A group of us were playing in a tournament nearby, so really were just looking for a cheap and convenient place to stop. I mean, there's not a lot to say really. The pub downstairs was great, with a really good selection of beers. However, they only seem to serve food on a Thursday which is a touch random. But yeah, will stay again.

On site breakfast facilities would have been good but Wetherspoons pub down the road provided a reasonable breakfast.

This was a very reasonably room for the price. It was small and comfortable with fridge, tea/coffee facilities. The room did become very warm overnight but there was a fan stored in the wardrobe which I used making it more comfortable for me. No issues with any of the shared shower rooms which were clean and always more than 1 available whenever I needed them. The staff were very friendly, the pub was very comfortable with an excellent selection of beers. Flexible access to the building via a pin code was useful.

Having to share a bathroom with other guests. Too small a window made the room feel like a prison cell.

The room was spotlessly clean. It was adequate for one night. However my first impression of the room I had was "upgraded prison cell". Only because the room was all white, with a tiny, frosted glassed window, high up where it couldn't be reached. I also didn't like the fact that I shared toilet and shower facilities with other guests - w shower/toilet blocks to 10 rooms. On the whole it was value for money for one night. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. One thing, there's no mention on the ad about the pub not opening till 3pm so I had to hang around for a few hours waiting, this could be mentioned in the ad to save frustration.
