In the pictures of your twin bed rooms it showed lovely views of the garden etc. This was one reason why I booked with you. I was very, very disappointed to see that the only view we had was parked cars right outside our window. NOT what I was expecting to look at after an 8 hour journey. We felt that we could not have our windows open to enjoy the country air.

The shower partition did not stop water going onto the floor, which was far from ideal.

Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great with a good choice. This is a return visit and we will be returning again.

The only issue I had with the downstairs room is that it overlooks the carpark, so I couldn't have the curtains open when in there. I would recommend some privacy film. Same with the bathroom, it says to keep the window open to prevent steam from sounding the alarm, but it leads to the carpark, so I was concerned people arriving would see me.

The breakfast was delicious. Great options too which was so nice! Room was comfortable and very clean. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

The hotel was stunning, in a gorgeous location although you do need a car if staying here. The staff were so friendly and we were always met with a smile and excellent service. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The rooms were immaculate and very cosy. I would definitely return here

Not one thing

The location was perfect, every single member of the staff was helpful and friendly (ask Annie where to eat!) and the place itself is beautiful. That it’s been in the family almost 50 years is palpable. I felt that I was visiting cousins I’d never met. The heater in the bathroom meant your bath towel (and underwear…) was always dry in time. Breakfast kept you going all day. Plenty of gorgeous walks right outside your door. And the VIEWS!

We loved our stay. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty, and we had plenty. We also booked an evening meal. Lovely menu that gets changed daily and the food was so amazing. So nice not to have to go out and find somewhere to eat. We had a very relaxing time and wished we could have stayed longer. x

My only criticism is that the bed had either lost a foot or the mattress had gone on one side. The bed had a definite tilt, so you felt as if you were going to fall off the bed all the time so I didn't sleep very well. Stayed in a different room last time and didn't have that issue.

Lovely staff, great location, lovely breakfast. It is really quiet area and although I haven't had dinner there it is nice to have that option. This was my second visit and I have booked to stay again in a few weeks.

My room only had a view of the carpark as it was one of the cheaper rooms but the room itself was very comfortable.
