The bathroom was not entirely cleaned, stay black hairs were left behind. Also one of the showers were only working properly. The main room was also dusty in places. Paying for a suite you do expect a higher level of execution on details like that. Also be mindful of that its an old building and you can hear the neighbours.

Amazing suite, it looked exactly like the photos. Celebrated my fiancée's birthday and the staff helped set up champagne and a cake to the room, very sweet. The location is great if you have a car, still close to Inverness but in a lush area. The castle itself actually feels really old and grand, it was very special to stay here. Nice breakfast and restaurant.

We didn’t go to the restaurant because we felt it was not good value for money

The room was very good and the ghost story was excellent! It was just spooky enough

Shower didn't work, water was cold, temperature control did not work. Was too late to report fault. Reported it to reception when paying bill. Key attachment was bulky and cumbersome.

Rude little man at the desk, could do with an attitude adjustment. I chose to stay at Tulloch Castle because of my family ties to Davidson family. I messaged the hotel weeks before my stay asking about if we could be directed to the Davidson family headstones, the girl advised that the area was overgrown but could give me directions. And when I asked about this on the day, the young man on the desk, refused to give me directions, saying that Clan Davidson would not like us looking at the site, because it was private and overgrown etc. Thank goodness for google, as directions were easily found there and on public record!

    History. Room was adequate.

when using the bar, we were very surprised of the amount spent. Beer is pretty expensive.

Great location and awesome decor inside the castle. Private parking and we could put our bikes in safe spot. Very nice location on the hill. Very nice breakfast , more than complete, with more than enough choice.

Quite expensive given many stairs and hallways to reach rooms, however understand that it is an old building. Staff were not overly attentive or helpful given price of accommodation, have had better service at budget chain hotels.

Beautiful old castle, authentic feeling interior and furnishings. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the bar menu meal we had was amazing and good value for money.

Unfortunately rooms didn't feel that will ventilated so got a bit hot during the night. The room i was in didn't have a great view but I guess you get what you pay for, and it was quite adequate for an overnight on route north. Sadly didn't live up to my sleeping in a castle aspirations.

Quiet and overall a nice little city, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean

We could use an extra pillow and blanket in the room.

A reasonably priced castle property. We loved the things that made this castle unique, big keys, tales of ghosts, and beautiful architectural details. Dinner in the Green Lady pub was nice. Our bed was big and comfortable.

Restaurant food really let it down food we got did not match the menu, food was warm only as if as been precooked and left on the side. 10% service charge on restaurant bill but did not mention it on the menu ( we could not find it anyway)

Plenty of space in the Mackenzie Suite, the main shower had no place to put toiletries whilst showering, the water didn't drain away well. The mirror in the main bathroom is too high. Felt it could do with a door in the bathroom. Food was good. No mirror in second room
