The views from the cottage and everything about the cottage inside was perfect the location was brilliant and Tina was lovely easy to contact when we missed the entrance she came and met us ..Every need was catered for in the cottage and it was very private too .

An extra toilet roll would be helpful for a 3 day visit. A few cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling and behind bedside tables. Limited choice of TV channels.

The property was very cozy with everything we needed. The owner was friendly. Nice walk from the door but the fields were muddy as it was winter.

Can be a little tricky to find ..I stopped a passing postman .

After an unavoidable issue with Underhill cottage the host contacted me and offered an alternative...Underhill coach house .The accommodation is out of this world. Beautiful interior and an amazing view..I booked for a couple of days of solitude and the Underhill coach house was perfect. Everything you could possibly want for a few days away ..I will be booking again in future .Better than 5* .

Only issues was the weather which meant we had to park at the top of a hill and walk down to property which was not easy in the snow amd walking back up was not easy but that was not owners fault and they did everything to make things easier

Underhill Cottage was expectionally comfortable very clean with everything you could need in a self catering accommodation. The views around the cottage are breathtaking. We met the owner Andy who lives in the adjoining cottage he was lovely very friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Finding it was a bit tricky and the road is a bit steep down to it.

We had a truly wonderful stay for 4 nights. The location is off the beaten tracks and is in a very scenic location. The property is spacious and well decorated. The beauty of it all is that it is only a very short drive from many coastal attractions.

Hosts were excellent, helpful but not intrusive. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Very peaceful, lovely gardens very well maintained! Great views, perfect location.Very steep access, not for timid drivers or low powered vehicles which may find it difficult or impossible in bad weather!

Having a bath was great unfortunately there wasn't enough hot water. The dishwasher had been broken by the previous guests and the owners were unable to replace this prior to our visit. We accept that this was not the fault of the owner who provided a gift pack of tea bags, cakes and biscuits by way of apology for the inconvenience caused.

Liked the quiet location. The accommodation was nicely furnished and well presented. Everywhere was clean and welcoming. The owners provided lots of information about the local area including lots of walks which we appreciated. The property had a bath which we like after a walk.

A beautiful spacious cottage set in a spectacular rural area not far from the village of Sleights. Extremely well equipped kitchen and comfy sofas for watching TV etc. The hosts were particularly helpful.

You might miss the turning down to the cottage. We used the escape lane as a point of reference for navigation. We had extra directions from Tina which put us right.

The cottage is outstanding, with all the comforts of home. Kitchen is well stacked with all the necessary equipment. We particularly enjoyed the small private terrace to eat & drink in. The bed was very comfortable & shower really good also. We enjoyed watching some of the DVDs on site. It was lovely to hear childrens laughter & play, without it being intrusive. Tina & Andy ( owners) were both very nice & helpful.
