The upstairs room has sloping ceilings and we bumped our heads quite a few times. If you’re tall then book the ground floor room which has more headspace 😊

Very friendly and welcoming host who made extra effort to prepare a vegan breakfast for us. The homemade bread is delicious. Breakfast is continental served to your bedroom door with a chair and table to eat from in the room. Bailey the dog is a star too, he barks but is very friendly and loves a stroke. Room has great views from roof window across the beach and sands. En suite shower room is excellent with modern fittings. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Easy to find the property and acres of space to park. Good TV with multiple channels. It’s a beautifully quiet area with just the playful bleating of lambs and bird song to hear.

The only thing and I feel terrible moaning as everything else was fantastic but the bed was too small for us.

The room was beautiful and the location was just perfect. The hosts were so nice and welcoming.Having our own private entrance was so good I didn’t feel like I was disturbing anyone when coming to and fro. The owners sheep were my favourite and I enjoyed meeting them. I hope I get to go back again one day in the summertime.

There was nothing we didn't like about the guesthouse but guests should be aware that there are few options for evening meals nearby. Investigate restaurants and book in plenty of time or bring a picnic or microwave meal.

The room was great with a large, comfy bed, sofa and armchair, dining table and chairs with our own fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast was served in our room. On top of all this the views of countryside and beach were unrivalled. A walk on the beach, watching birds, paddling in the warm, shallow water was a highlight of our holiday.

I Enjoyed the continental breakfast although my husband does enjoy a Scottish breakfast. He did enjoyed the home made bread tho. So that was fine Made welcome.

Everything was fine.

Warm and comfortable, Marion's bread is wonderful. It's a lovely area and we enjoyed the local walks in the dunes and machair, but it can be wet underfoot.

We had such a lovely stay at Valley Sands. Room was lovely, hosts super friendly and great breakfast (including homemade bread!). Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic! The room was so nice and comfortable, the bathroom new and elegant, the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Great views onto the bay (and the sheep). The owner was very nice and the breakfast was also very good.

Beautiful room with four poster bed and seating and dining area. Lovely continental breakfast served in our room. Marion makes home made break which was delicious. Fantastic views. And she went above and beyond. We had an early departure and she delivered yummy breakfast sandwiches to our room at 5.45 am!

Due to location, it is essential to book evening meals at local establishments.

From the moment we arrived we were very warmly welcomed, especially by Bailey, The accommodation was excellent, very spacious and modern. The view from the bedroom window was stunning. There was so much variety for breakfast.

The location and views from the property were incredible. Words can’t describe the beauty of the place. We were lucky enough to witness an incredible sunset from the table and chairs outside. The room itself was large, comfortable and well decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean including the private bathroom. Marion was a great host, she was friendly and informative and incredibly welcoming, as though you’d known her for years. Her continental breakfast was delicious, especially the home made bread. Highly recommend staying here
