- Lumpy pillows (not a huge negative, I do like my own 🙈) - Strange noise that kept me awake, couldn't figure out what it was, partner could hear it too but was able to sleep.

It is almost impossible to get a taxi in this area to and from the property. There is no local taxi service.

There was nothing to not like. Comfort, cleanliness, ambience, parking - all totally perfect.

The location was great. Quiet and peaceful, and just out of town,, but close enough to walk to everything (which we did) and which was exactly what we wanted. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-planned. Cleanliness was excellent. Staff very kind and helpful. We will definitely recommend this place to friends. The Kinema in the Woods is just up the road, and we have been wanting to visit this place for years. EVERYONE should visit it, and Village Limits is a great place to stay for Woodhall Spa and the Kinema in the Woods.

As neither of us are great sleepers (though we actually had one of our best nights for a long time) we would have liked to be able to have a separate control for the light outside the bathroom, so that one of us could have read without disturbing the other.

Excellent dinner and breakfast. And when the coffee proved not to be hot enough I was quickly brought a large cappuccino. We also appreciated the very large and thick towels.

We only had one night. Deserved more than one

Fantastic, a real find! We were late as we were caught up behind an accident on the M11. We had to cancel our meal booking as the kitchen would have been closed by the time we arrived, a little later we had a call from the proprierter stating he would keep the kitchen open. Brilliant service. Excellent food.

The greeting on arrival and at breakfast was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was extensive and freshly prepared. The room was very clean and airy, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

The property was as near perfect as possible. The rooms were artfully decorated to create interest, warmth and a sense of luxury. The bed and bedding were superb, I had the best night’s sleep that I’d had in a long time. Breakfast was excellent, all the ingredients were top quality and tasty. The hosts were charming and attentive. I was very relieved because I was responsible for booking the accommodation for us and our friends!
