I found the staff attitude at the fitness centre hostile. We were told incorrect times for swimming for children (we had been advised that due to the bank holiday, the pool would be open till 7pm for children) but we were turned away by the leisure staff who seemed quite uncaring despite the clear disappointment on my sons face. The next day we were advised we couldn’t use the lockers to store our stuff as there was no wristband for hotel guests. After I persisted the staff member behind the desk agreed to look after our valuables. I suspect they are more used to dealing with their fitness customers but the whole thing did not appear very family friendly.

Good clean and comfortable rooms. The food was very good and excellent value for money. We also liked the design of the bar and restaurant. Bar and restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. Very nice clean and large pool.

The party venue was freezing, air conditioning made it so uncomfortable, draft on my head all evening, I even had to go to room and get my coat at one stage.

There for gym club party. Room was OK nothing special, but comfortable and clean. Buffet was great, music was good.

Myself & daughter were both woken separately in the night by loud talking and music. There was a wedding party in the hotel so can only assume it was related to the same event?

the rooms are a little bit tired, also they have the habit of over selling, so we got a phone call late in the evening informing us that they had over sold & we didn't have a room, I told them we where a family that stay there regularly so they decided to cancel someone else's room !!!!

Had a poor experience in leisure club…weren’t given a fob for locker and partners pockets were emptied of key card and loose change. Very noisy at 3am, maybe could locate couples on a high floor away from groups? Food in grill was good but service a little lacking. Finally orange squash at breakfast? Would have expected a selection of juices.

We had a few problems with being overcharged for pool facilities but they gave us a complimentary breakfast for it but they seemed to charged us on a day we didn’t use them so still trying to sort that out

Room was nice and warm and bed was very comfy although my fiancé experienced back problems imin the morning, was quite clean and it’s a very nice hotel overall and also got complimentary breakfasts

Family rooms apparentley are at the back of the hotel room with a view of the roof from a small window - disappointing - we did ask for a room with a view of the car park as the grandchildren like looking at the hustle and bustle of the traffic and the lights during the evening. Had to ask for extra pillows as only 1 per person and not comfy watching TV in bed with only 1 pillow. Restaurant service a bit slow and there were dirty tables which were left by staff. Hotel in need of a makeover - front of hotel paintwork peeling off and could do with fresh coat of paint inside too.

Sandra was brilliant 👏 gave me some milk as we brought grandchildren's own cereal with us as breakfast not worth paying for - £10 for a young child for a bowl of cereal is pointless. We loved our session in the pool and wasn't too crowded. Food nice in restaurant maybe a little overpriced. Shout out for Crystal too who "found" 4 extra pillows for us.

The extractor fan in our room didn’t work, so lots of steam accumulated when showering… We stayed Saturday night. Got back to hotel at 10:30pm and the bar was already closed. Starbucks was also closed. There was literally nowhere to buy drinks (soft or otherwise) or snacks to take to room. No kiosk, no vending machine, nothing and there are no shops nearby. Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay but we intended to pay on arrival, only to be told that they were not accepting ‘walk ins’ as there wasn’t enough food!!! With that we immediately left the hotel and won’t be returning…

Had lunch on Tuesday and the options were limited and poor. Three types of pies; vegetables skewers,Chips and whole meal wraps. Very unwhelmed!!!!
