This is a self-contained unit which provided an excellent base for visiting family and friends and other places of interest close by. Everything we needed for our stay was present and the hosts were on hand if we needed any help with anything.

Minor elementary niggles should have been attended to before guests use the property > ground floor basin taps nearly worn out & needed to be turned off v tightly - no place to put shower shampoo etc other than on floor of cubicle - wc cistern screamed loudly every time it was flushed so could not be used over night with other guests upstairs asleep - a power cable trailed over the concrete path used to access front door, we accidentally trod on it at times, it is bound to be safety issue in the future unless attended to. Drew attention of the taps to host at start of stay with no effect so saw no point in mentioning the rest - they are obvious anyway

Location is excellent as a central point for touring. Beds v comfortable, upstairs bedroom especially worth a comment, pleasantly spacious and well appointed. Host friendly, but not intrusive despite living in next property

I highly recommand this holiday home. It has everything you have at home with a lovely Scottisch view from the livingroom. Furniture and decorations are chosen with care and make you feel at home. The owner lives next door and is very friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do and see in less than an hour drive,shops and supermarkets in the towns nearby.

The beds were comfortable. Nice quiet location with a lovely view. Crieff, Perth, Aberfeldy, Comrie and more all worth a visit and all within an hour from Westacre Lodge.

Stunning view and stunning garden. The hosts Matt and Isobel live in the house beside the Lodge. They were very friendly without encroaching on our space. The Lodge itself was cosy and had everything we needed for our holiday. We would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it

Westacre Lodge is a delightful cottage. Quiet, relaxing and an opportunity to revive oneself after a challenging year. The property is well equipped, with ample space for four people. You can have long walks right from the door in the vast surrounding countryside. However, Crieff is only a few minutes away where you can easily stock up on provisions.

The single beds on the ground floor, suggest single beds upstairs (maybe three) and a double bed downstairs. Garden furniture needs to be changed, becoming a little dangerous with age.

The location and host were excellent. The garden and parking were good. We also like the electric gate it gave a sense of security. Good local amenities in Crieff which is about 4.5 miles away.

Our host Mr Nisbet made us very welcome, albeit we had to ask for toilet rolls on our first day of arrival. Dispensers such as washing up liquid, soap. sanitiser, were almost empty, thankfully we carried our own.

Breakfast was not included within the cost quoted and paid for £945.00. Being within the Travel Industry and a Fellow of The Travel & Tourism i.e.; F.INST.TT, this was my first experience of a Staycation whereby there was no 'Welcome Note & Drinks such as Chilled Water etc, which we experienced throughout the United Kingdom on similar arrangements!
