It was quite inconvenient that the place did not come with an allocated parking spot. We happened to arrive on a day it was raining and had to spend about an hour looking for a parking spot on a street somewhere nearby.

I liked how the place had a homey feel to it. There were books you could read while looking at the sea, as well as decor that added to the beach atmosphere. There were also very helpful supplies in the kitchen which made meals very easy to prepare. Overall, it was very easy to make yourself at home.

The storage heater did not give out enough heat for a holiday in April. The towel rail didnt work so the bathroom was bery cold. Not enough hot water to fill half the bath

We loved having the balcony to sit on in the evenings. The photos show exactly what your getting. We were very impressed with the local bus services- very reliable. The beach and Boscombe town are a 5 minute walk away and Bournemouth is about a 25minute walk along the sea front. Every Friday night during the summer months at 10pm Bournemouth has a firework display which can be seen clearly from the beach in Boscombe. My husband met Kevin who was very friendly and great at communicating if we had any questions via Booking.com.

Nothing not to like really, maybe the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger, but was satisfactory.

The location was quiet, and the apartment was clean with all the facilities we needed. The bed was extra comfortable. Lovely view from the balcony.

The parking! The apartment does not come with its own space which I found disappointing. Parking spaces are hard to find and even though Kevin the owner knocked on my door when a space appeared so I could grab it, which I really appreciated, I didn't move my car again for 3 days for fear of never finding another space. If this apartment had its own space like the other apartments in the building seemed to have, it would make all the difference and I would have explored the area more. But that was then only fault in my eyes.

Absolutely loved this spotlessly clean little apartment. Decor was tasteful. Everything you need is there including some milk on arrival. Plenty of wardrobe space. Comfortable bed. All kitchen facilities packed into this fantastic little apartment space. But perfectly adequate and with an added bonus of a balcony where you can see the sea and hear the waves crashing on the beach. Would definitely return.

Shower was a bit hit and miss … but for an electric shower it’s what you’d expect.

Nice and quiet, nice balcony and sea view. Easy walking distance from the beach and local restaurant.

Parking can be difficult to find. There is unrestricted free parking on the street and nearby streets but we always found them to be full. We always found parking but we had to walk some distance. This is no reflection on the property but Boscombe town centre is not nice!

It felt a bit complicated to find the door key. However, it was OK after receiving the instruction.

There was no allocated parking space for the flat and although there was parking on the street, there was rarely a space near to the flat. Had to leave our car down different streets. We would not stay in that flat again for that reason

The bathroom was basis and for my partner who likes a full force power shower the shower was sadly lacking. The towels could also be upgraded to a bath sheet and maybe 2 sets provided if the stay is for a week although I did put them in the washing machine.

The location of the studio was fantastic with the restaurants and bars of boscombe within easy walking distance. The bus stop was also in easy walking distance making day trips to Poole and Bournemouth dead easy. The studio is a spacious room with kitchen facilities to make meals if needed. We just had cereal and toast but there are also little wins like salt pepper, tea, coffee and washing powder if needed. The host was great providing local knowledge and friendly advice. I had seen some bad reviews of Boscombe Bay area but that was definitely not our experience and the location provided us with great walks in either direction and the beach was very clean

Our one criticism was the lack of parking. Luckily we managed to find a space on the road not too far from the property but it would have been more convenient to park in the allocated car parking space. Apparently this can be arranged in advance but we were not aware of this.

Excellent location, close to the beach and the shops. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was also a lovely, quiet area so no excessive noise at night.

We loved this appartment as it was spotless and just felt like home. When we arrived we was welcomed by Kevin and his wife who are lovely people and they discussed some great places to visit and to eat. They had supplied all the necessities needed on arriving at somewhere new such as coffee tea milk and sugar. There was also toiletries provided which is great if you want to travel light. When we had taken all this in we were greeted on the balcony by lovely sea views. I would highlyrecommend a stay here and we will be back.😎

I honestly can't believe how highly this property is rated because it definitely doesn't meet a 5 star standard. 1. The advert said "free cancellation" but that only applied to the first 24hrs. I don't know if that's a booking.com thing or an advertiser thing but it feels very much like doing the bare minimum to secure the "Free Cancellation" badge on the advert. This sort of dishonesty irks me. I'd expect free cancellation to go to a minimum of 24-48 hours before arrival, not 24hrs after booking. 2. The apartment is one of 10 in the building and there is very poor soundproofing meaning that we were awoken at 6am one morning and 5am the next by other residents moving around, showering etc. Also there is no door between the main living/sleeping area and the entrance (it's been removed presumably to give a feeling of space). Again this contributed to noise problems as anyone entering and leaving the building sounded like they were right in the room with us. 3. The Free Parking listed is not a real parking allocation. It is possible to park on the street outside and the advertiser has used this to technically get the badge on the listing but on-street parking is not what we expected. The Boscombe spa area of Bournemouth isn't the 'nicest' and if I had an expensive vehicle (luckily I don't) I would not have felt very safe parking it on the street. This false advertising also led to a situation where someone parked illegally on double yellow lines directly in front of my car blocking us in for the morning and preventing me from leaving for a dawn photoshoot which I had planned. This wouldn't have happened (or at least is much less likely) if allocated parking was available.

The landlord was great with great comms. The location is lovely and close to the beach which is great. The apartment is nicely laid out and the balcony with a view is a lovely bonus.
