I didn't get the opportunity to have the breakfast or evening meal and would like to do that. I didn't realise how close it is to the Wookey Hole. It is literally at the entrance, and I would like to go back to do that too..

The parking was good, directly in front of the hotel. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable.

Reception staff weren't very welcoming and seemed more concerned with chatting to each other. No one told us about the games room on arrival so we only found out on leaving which was a shame. Shower over bath was temperamental and shower head needs descaling to stop water coming out on a funny angle and drenching the room. We had a twin room and the beds were on wheels and moved at the slightest touch which was annoying. Dead spider on windowsill.

The room was clean enough and pleasant. Great location and price.

    Nothing really.

A lovely little hotel perfect for families and ideally located for a visit to Wookey Hole caves and the surrounding Somerset area. Good food and a pleasant vibe. Plenty of free parking available.

All good (take note of my comments above though)

We had a disabled room, as it was the cheapest option. I wasn't sure it would work ok for a real disabled person? The soap dispenser was too high to reach when I the bath which would have proved difficult for someone with mobility issues. Also, no shower attachment - I've had two disabled members in my family and I think they'd have struggled.

We were in room 2 which is next to the double doors the staff use. Lots of banging when entering or leaving. Good news it stopped at 9pm.

Staff were very friendly and food at evening meal and breakfast great

Rooms could do with a little tlc, but nothing too much.

Great location, and in a lovely setting. Staff from our arrival were friendly, helpful couldn't have done anymore to help us, even let us check in early. Bar in the evening was well stocked and great prices, very chilled out and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic, lovely, attentive and helpful staff on hand for any questions. Overall, room was very clean, as was the whole hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Constant low level humming noise (we were in room 33), didn’t affect our sleep, disappointed not to be in rooms next to each other. Confirmation seemed to suggest we would be but only applied to our anticipated arrival time. Got to request bath mats from reception, only realise when you’re getting into the shower and then puts you at risk.

Location, parking, ability to eat in good, food and service was good. Checking in and out efficient.

Bed was really uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on top of the duvet, so we had a bit of padding. Think it needed a new mattress. We've stayed at the same hotel and had a much more comfortable bed previously.

Great location, staff really helpful and friendly. Great to be able to eat in their restaurant too

The location is great, although watch for narrow roads and deep pot holes. The room was huge. But what really makes this a great hotel is it's team. So friendly and helpful and really kind in my hour of need when I blew my car tire. As it was Sunday, nothing was open mechanical wise and they helped me book for an additional night without having to move rooms.
