That we didn't stay longer

Absolutely everything was above expectations. Graham and Delyth were so welcoming, friendly and kind with genuine interest in us. The room was immaculate and spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was exquisite. The location is only a few miles from Conwy and very easy to drive to. They have a lovely dog, Charlie, who likes to make his presence known but he is a very friendly dog and enjoys attention. Wholeheartedly recommend Y Llew Coch (The Red Lion) for a quiet, homely and relaxing getaway!

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome upon arrival and went the extra mile in booking us into a local pub for a lovely evening meal.

The views from the property are phenomenal. The property was in excellent order throughout, immaculately clean and well presented, you can see that maintenance is of utmost importance. Also a great car park.

Where do we begin? Delyth, Graham and Charlie (the dog) were absolutely brilliant hosts, always so willing to help, such a friendly couple. Their ultimate goal was to ensure you had a fabulous time. The breakfasts were great. If you were wondering what to do they would recommend places of interest and also best way to get to your destination. They go over and above to make sure you feel at home. Really impressed with their willingness to let you have takeaways and use their dining facilities.

A lovely welcome from the owners and they were extremely helpful. The room was light and airy with a spacious bathroom. Nice extra touches like bottled water and biscuits.

They make us feel so welcome. -the rooms are sparkling clean -the bed is extra big and comfortable -amazing facilities with a perfect bathroom -Breakfast is outstanding and very tasty -perfect location to visit Conwy Castle or Bodnant garden -we have visited Wales many times and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in with the most reasonable price -will definitely stay here again to visit Conwy

Full breakfast was huge, with well cooked good quality ingredients. Lots of other options for those with smaller appetites. Hosts were happy to cook/prepare to individual requirements including gluten free, veggie etc

I’ve nothing to say in this category.

We particularly liked the hosts who were friendly and very helpful. They provided suggestions about eating out before we arrived so we could pre-book. The room was large, attractive and well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Cake was provided as an extra treat! The position of the property makes it easy to reach Conwy and the rest of the coastline. We would have no hesitation in returning and hope to do so in the autumn.

Having to leave after two nights. Only slight niggle was no over mirror light for shaving, but no real problem.

The hosts/owners of the Y Llew Coch are very attentive, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is very good using Welsh products, sausages are particularly good. The room we stayed in was large and well furnished, good sized shower room too.
