A way to lock the door from the outside of the sliding doors would be a nice touch for extra security while at the pool.

The cleanliness, kitchenette and petals were appreciated.

The television wasn't clear and had less entertainment. The black and white cats close to our room scared my daughter a lot.

I hate to have to write a negative review, but I want to be honest. The front desk staff were neither helpful nor friendly from day one. My husband & I arrived very late at night. The front desk staff acted as if we were "bothering them." Not welcoming or helpful. We hoped this was a one-off, but sadly, this theme lasted thru our 5-night stay. We go to breakfast our 1st morning & we are given an attitude by the woman preparing our eggs. No "good morning".. nothing (this happened following morning as well). We found the servers at the on-site restaurant the same... disinterested. Again, as if we are "bothering" them. We even had issues getting condiments! I asked the server for ketchup & she literally stood over me while I poured, then took it right back! It was like pulling teeth to get mayonnaise! The same w/ getting room & pool towels. We had to hound the front desk & wait way too long for any extra towels. It just wasn't right. The pool areas were nice but dead. There was no music (even at low volume) at pools or pool bar. Manager on duty said there should be music on but it didn't happen. So not much "atmosphere" at pool/bar. During our stay, we voiced our concerns to front desk staff & manager on duty. We didn't see a change. Finally, on our 2nd to last day, we got to speak w/General Manger, Kevin. He was very nice & seemed interested in our concerns. He said he would look into compensation (thru Booking or otherwise) for our troubles throughout the stay. He said he would get back to us before we left. We did not hear back & have not received any compensation for our lost time & aggrevation. It was disappointing, to say the least. There are many nice things about this resort, but unfortunately for us, it was overshadowed by all the negatives.

Grounds were lovely. Pools were nice. Certain staff were friendly (housekeeping, grounds keeping, tour desk). Rooms were spacious w/balcony. The location was fine if you don't mind not being on the beach. The resort has a nice "islandy" vibe. Small & intimate.

Food choice at breakfast and dinner was very limited and basic. Improvement is needed here I would say Most staff in restaurant/ serving buffet food were miserable The cocktail pool bar doesn’t open till 11am and the attendant Sky was downright rude and miserable. There is no beach and the water is dirty so access into sea is non existent and you wouldn’t go as water is dirty Attention to detail is very much lacking. The Dodgie Dock is an untidy mess area and the walk way round to rooms is ramshackle and messy around the scuba areas

We didn't like having to leave...

We loved the whole holiday experience at True Blue Boutique Resort, the breakfasts, lunches & dinners all take place on the dock built over the sea and it was lovely to be right on the sea at every meal. The staff were all super friendly & helpful, the food excellent, the room service professionally undertaken. There are four separate pools with the largest having a bar & a children's water slide. There are entertainment events on various nights, the street food stalls with live band on every Wednesday night was our favourite. The Hotel has tons of character with different styles of buildings so couldn't feel less 'corporate' like and the Aquanauts Dive Centre is on the Hotel grounds so very convenient for a diver or snorkeller. This has been a family owned Hotel for 25 years and I really enjoyed talking to the owner, Russ, and to fantastic Reservations Manager, Kisha. Both were a delight to meet.

My issue was just with the king size bed. It had two full mattresses or twin mattresses maybe and when you rolled into the middle, you felt the borders of the mattresses, but they were comfortable when you were sleeping in the middle of each of the mattresses

I love the property because of all its little homey, nooks and crannies you were able to walk around and find a quiet spot for yourself to sit and read what you just unwind and you were also able to have a few drinks and enjoy your fellow travelers, and enjoy the wonderful staff that they had there

There was a gass leak in my 1st room and me and my 7 years old son slept in there for some hours and got very sick when I called the front desk they came and said someone was doing work on the gas stove yesterday and left the stove turned on thank God I don't smoke or I didn't try to cook or make tea We would have died ... They came and turned the stove off and tried to leave us in this same room 😔 I had to call and demand another room!!!!! My mom stayed up stairs and she too could smell it from her room my whole family was sick my entire trip was a mess and the cleaning lady stole my clothes I'm thinking of sueing them because I still feel very sick 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

AC not working in our rooms and was not dealt with immediately on us reporting it. This subsequently meant the first night was spent very uncomfortably in the intense heat rather than changing apartments s. We had already unpacked, were tired and in our bed clothes by this time as it was very late and the children were sleeping..This first night was later not charged. Ended up moving apartments 3 times during our 2 night stay as the reservations manager back tracked on her word about accommodating a late check out. Flush on toilet was temperamental in one bathroom.

Most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, professional and accommodating.Brant on reservations was great. A buggy was used to transport our luggage on arrival to our apartments. Our apartments were next door to each other as requested. The amenities on site were lovely.. The restaurant was great with excellent scenery.

I was disappointed with the room mostly, the photos are probably 15 years old, the room is very dated and basic. Overall, it felt like a summer camp. Might be fun for families or groups of young people maybe. Wasn’t comfortable - and definitely didn’t live up to the reviews. Overpriced for what it offers.

The staff are really pleasant and the environment might be described as ‘quirky’. The restaurant breakfast was decent.

They gave us a leaking room ,fan was not working,we complained to the front desk the first day and they said some one will come and check it.Nobody came to fix it.The day of departure we complained about the leaking (litterally pouring water to the sofa} when it rained) and the fan still not working,They said they will talk to their manager and will reimbusre .Till now I didnot here any thing from them.

The brekfast was good. we thought buffet breakfast means we could take as many times as we want.we felt that they were controlling the portions and they dont expect you to come back second time.
