Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesIt was away from the city, food delivery took almost 1.5 hrs and it was by the sea but between the sea and the hotel is a busy road + railway tracks which gets noisy whenever the train passes by. Also the biggest flaw would be that the hotel does not have elevator, so getting up and down with luggage gets tiresome.
The hotel seemed new, everything was clean from reception, restaurant and rooms. Rooms were good size. View of the sea was uninterrupted (visually only)

IndiaThere is a slight noise of the vehicles at night. But the doors are soundproofed.
Few kms away from city, but that is the plus of this hotel. Initially we felt we were staying far away from the city, but after experiencing Batumi's traffic and parking hassles, we realised this hotel was a good choice. Just a min walk from Black sea beach, all rooms have sea view.

GeorgiaThe location was not a drawback for us as we wanted a place far from the hustle and bustle of the city center; but if you plan to visit the city center a lot, keep in mind there might be traffic jams. But I guess it’s a common thing in Batumi anyway.
Great small hotel with a beautiful seaside view. The staff was helpful and polite. We loved the breakfast: lots of options, and everything was tasty. While the windows face the road, closing the balcony door is sufficient to eliminate most of the noise. The amazing sea view makes up for it. We really enjoyed our stay here, thanks a lot!

United KingdomWhen spoke to the team of family room booking that had 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed, and 2 twin beds, we were informed that we could not book the room for a group of 4 people. Even thought the room was sufficient enough, we were requested to book another separate room that, in my opinion, was unnecessary.
The continental breakfast was really up to the expectations. Overall the staff was really friendly and ready to accommodate all of our needs. The hotel bathrooms were well equipped with the toiletries, room well equipped with the needed slippers and towels. Room with great beach views and the sunrise was really pretty.

United KingdomThe hotel is closed to the road and railway. So it’s noisy if your balcony door is open. If it was the safe in the room it would be better.
Very kind and attentive staff. The breakfast was like I had at Hyatt in London. Nice location for 1 night stay, with private parking and a pool for warm weather.

SwitzerlandIt is difficult to pin point any real negatives. In general, I would advise future guests to use local apps for transportation and food delivery services as some private taxis may take advantage and charge unreasonable fees.
We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and decided to visit again because we had a great experience. This time the hotel managed to exceed our expectations as it has added a number of new facilities since our last stay and improved the aura and the atmosphere even more. Clear positives are very good comfort, hearty and tasty breakfasts, very polite and friendly staff, amazing views, very nice location and great value for money. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

GeorgiaNoise from the street. You book a room hoping on waking up to the sea view and enjoying your coffee on the balcony, but in reality it is right on the Tbilisi-Batumi road, so traffic doesnt stop 24/7. Tiny room enough to spend 1 night, but not more.
Spotless cleanliness and very nice, friendly staff at the reception and on the breakfast. The design of the hotel is also very nice. We didnt use it, since it was raining, but the pool area looked quite nice from the distance.

United KingdomAs with other reviews that I read regarding this hotel, the only problem is the location. All rooms face on to the sea which is great and each room has a little balcony but between the hotel and the sea is one of the busiest roads that I have ever experienced, supplemented by a railway line just behind it. The result is lots of noise and pollution 24 hours per day. For me, this made the use of the balcony impossible. If you don't mind the noise/traffic pollution then this is a good value hotel.
Hotel is really well built and maintained. The air-con is the best I've ever come across! The staff were helpful and the ladies preparing the breakfast and cleaning the rooms, especially so.

SloveniaThe hotel is situated immediately next to a very busy (main) road and the railway, which greately diminished our experience of the balcony. There is constant loud noise from the road and trains. Additionally, for a four-star hotel we expected more comfort. The room wasn't too big and the pool was small. There's a bus going to Batumi from near the hotel, but it can take from 15 minutes up to an hour, depending on the traffic.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the facilities you would expect. The hotel is very near a beach so you can go swimming in the sea whenever you desire. It also has a shared pool, which is available to use at any time of the day. The breakfast was amazing - it was an open buffet with fresh food, coffee, tea, in short, everything you want. The room also had a balcony with breathtaking sunsets. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, although, only the receptionist spoke English.

GeorgiaLocation. It is on the ultra busy road. So you basically have a traffic jam under your window. And it is also the only way to get to the hotel. So you have to sit through this jam, and then you have to enjoy this jam under your window.
Actual rooms are small but great.

United KingdomThe only downside was that they had not labelled the halal and the non-halal meat in the breakfast. However, when it was mentioned to the manager he was very apologetic and said that they’ve already purchased labels and are going to address it.
The view from the rooms were amazing. Loved the balcony, the pool area and the decor of the hotel. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. The cleanest, most tidy hotel we’ve been to. Would definitely go again. Very accommodating with early check in and late check out.
