People were allowed to smoke by the pool, and we didn't appreciate it at all, we even had to change places where we were sitting because of the smoking. Almyrida was a small village and there wasn't "an easy" way out, you would have to rent a car or take a taxi to go somewhere. Also the streets were dirty. Also the couple's massage was overpriced and not that great quality.

Exceptional service by super friendly staff. Everyone at the hotel were nice and ready to help with anything. The hotel was really elegant and we had a nice room by the pool. The food and the drinks at the restaurants were really good. The staff brought us a bottle of sparkling wine for us, since it was our honeymoon. The pool was cool during the hot day and they had lot of seats at the pool, so we didn't have to fight for them.

Bathroom was smelly sometimes, feels more like 4 star hotel, not the nicest village on island.

Lovely boutique hotel well located for beach and restaurants in resort. Rooms and communal areas very clean and well maintained. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make your stay a happy one. We will definitely return.

Although there was a sign to tell residents not to reserve sun beds, this still happened during breakfast. Although the website says the hotel has beach beds, this isn’t true.

Lots of choice at breakfast and lovely, friendly staff. The hotel was very clean and in a great location to the beach and local restaurants and amenities.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The bed was huge & comfortable. Lovely views from our room. Plenty of comfortable sun beds around the pool. Great selection at breakfast. Staff are all so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Cocktails & pool snacks were delicious! We stayed for our honeymoon and we’re welcomed with our towels made into swans & a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival to our room, really appreciated. Air conditioning in room was powerful. Great shower, toiletries, robes, slippers, iron, scales etc all the added extras. Netflix on tv was great too.

-Shower without door, causing constant "flooding" of the bathroom. -Wifi with good signal but quite slow.

-Special congrats to the team: very attentive, kind and helpful. -Great location, 2 min away from the beach. -Modern hotel with spacious rooms, beautiful and relaxing pool area. -Very good restaurant (probably the best in town), revisiting Greek cuisine with a modern touch. Great atmosphere with live music 2-3 times per week. -Excellent breakfast buffet with many types of foods.

Our suite room was different one than in the picture so it didn’t look as nice. Other people could see from the reception and restaurant to the suite pool so it wasn’t so private. So the suite is a bit too high priced in my opinion. We didn’t use the suites pool so much so next time we would take a different room. The hotel didn’t have a own beach section so you need to pay for sunbeds.

I liked the way night shift receptionist welcomed us with juice and wet towels. The location was nice if you want a relaxing vacation and we could drive from there to many places. I liked that the hotel had a beach and some markets and restaurants near. With a car the location was perfect for us. The hotel was very clean and luxorious. The breakfast was nice with many options. The hotel wasn’t too crowded and we could get pool sunbeds easily.

the property location and staff was top notch. Niko the manager made our stay extra nice and was always fun to talk to.The reception desk was also very responsive and were very open and approachable. We didn’t use the pool so much, because the beach was across the street and had very nice water. cleaning staff was also very excellent

Excellent location, close enough to the big city Chania and at the same time far enough away to not feel the numerous tourists at this time of the year. Rethymno is another option for an interesting town nearby. Peaceful with a very good pool and excellent serviced complex, close to the beach and to many good restaurants. Тhe breakfast has a good variety and quality, as are the cocktails from the pool bar.

Everything was perfect

The hotel was perfect and made our stay unforgettable. The room was spacious and modern. Cleaning was meticulously done every day. Also in other parts of the hotel. The restaurant is really cosy, with a nice view on the sea. The breakfast was good with fresh products. We ate several times there for dinner as well. The card is small but the food was delicious and well presented, in a gourmet style (with a special mention to the chef for the pastitsio!). The wine list was good too. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is well located to visit the west side of the island (we rented a car for more flexibility). Around the hotel there are many restaurants and a nice sandy beach

We had an amazing stay here. The hotel is very modern and luxurious. Great pool area with lots of sun beds and chairs we never had an issue getting one. Bar is right beside the pool and serves lovely cocktails and in the evening had live music from a great band called the marmitas while we were there. Staff were very friendly and were always happy to help. We also took part in a fantastic wine tasting event ran by the hotel manager Nikolas which I would highly recommend to experience lots of different Greek wines and learn more about them.
